PSYCHO-FRAME have shared an update on their upcoming album. The band said the following:
“11 songs done instrumentally, kind of want to write another, kind of want to cut one. 6 songs done vocally. Maybe 7 by tonight. Everyone sounds awesome. No features as of now, that could change. We didn’t make the same record again. No one wanted that.”
Beyond Creation will be releasing a 15th anniversary vinyl pressing of “The Aura” on July 17. The reissue can be pre-orderd as a transparent record with black and red splatters. 333 copies are available and they will also include a poster and an embroidered patch. Vocalist/guitarist Simon Girard commented:
“Fifteen years ago, ‘The Aura‘ marked the beginning of our sonic journey. Our celebration of its 15th anniversary officially begins with this special limited-edition reissue. Join us in the celebration during our upcoming tour of Latin America with our special guests Fallujah, where we will perform the album in its entirety for the first time ever, as well as our new single ‘Reverence‘.”
Korn guitarist James “Munky” Shaffer has expressed interest in bringing back the Family Values Tour. The musician told joy.of.everything the following when asked about a hypothetical return:
“That would be amazing, and have the originals like Ice Cube and Rammstein. I mean, it’s possible.”
“I’ve talked about it. I have talked about it. I’m the one that’s like, ‘let’s do this!’. So I think if we have the right people involved, it could happen.”
King Parrot have premiered a new video for their song “It’s A Rort.” The clip was filmed during the band’s set at the 2026 Flippin’ The Bird Festival in Frankston, Australia. The track appears on their latest album “A Young Person’s Guide To King Parrot.” Frontman Matt Young commented:
“When we started playing ‘It’s A Rort,’ we felt that the audience participation factor for the hardcore style breakdown at the end might make it a crowd favourite. It felt like a no-brainer to make a video for this song and when we headlined Flippin’ The Bird in February, we felt it was the right moment to capture the live intensity of the song. ‘Rort’ is a common term we use back home when you’re getting ripped off, scammed, or lied to. We’ve recently found out that ‘rort’ is not a word commonly used in the US so we’ve spent time explaining it to people, as we feel like it’s a pretty apt time to use it!”
Jimmy Eat World have booked three more shows for this June. This includes two extra stops on their “Bleed American” 25th anniversary tour. Here’s the newly announced dates:
06/22 Nantucket, MA – The Muse
06/24 Bridgeport, CT – Hartford Healthcare Amphitheater (“Bleed American” 25th anniversary set) (feat. The Wonder Years & Girls Against Boys)
06/25 Asbury Park, NJ – Stone Pony Summer Stage (“Bleed American” 25th anniversary set) (feat. The Wonder Years & Girls Against Boys)
Soen have premiered a new video for their song “Axis.” You can check that out below. The track is from the band’s latest album “Reliance.”
Vocalist Joel Ekelöf commented:
“‘Axis‘ is about the moment when you start to notice that the roles you’re given don’t really belong to you. It’s about stepping beyond that distance we learn to live with, and remembering there’s something stronger underneath it. The fire is already there. The question is if we’re willing to stand closer and follow it together.”
Drummer Martin Lopez continued:
“It’s a straight-up metal anthem for those of us who refuse to pretend that the people in power actually have our best interests at heart. A musical “fuck-you” to all of them.”
Keyboardist/guitarist Lars Åhlund added:
“The video keeps it as simple as it should be. Just us going hard, playing a song we love. It’s a rehearsal captured through the lens of the incredible Patric Ullaeus, and it feels exactly right for a track like ‘Axis.’”
The title track of Dayseeker’s 2019 album “Sleeptalk” has officially been certified gold by the RIAA. The song now serves as their first gold single in the U.S.
