  • Kittie Bassist Ivy Vujic To Miss ShipRocked Cruise

Kittie bassist Ivy Vujic will be missing the band’s performances on the ShipRocked cruise due to “a prior family commitment.” The band commented:

“For those joining us at @shiprocked this week, you may notice that Ivy won’t be with us on this run. Family always comes first, and she’s honoring a prior family commitment, something we fully understand and support. We’re looking forward to being back together again at @sicknewworld in April”

  • Yungblud Responds After Facing Backlash For Taking A Picture With Rammstein’s Till Lindemann

Yungblud has been facing backlash after taking a picture with Rammstein frontman Till Lindemann. The controversy stems from Lindemann’s “Row 0” parties, which allegedly found him engaging in sexual assault, spiking drinks, and more. An investigation was launched to assess the situation, but it was ultimately dropped. The frontman later filed a lawsuit against a German publication for their reports on the matter as well. Yungblud said the following after finding out about the accusations:

“I had absolutely no idea — obviously at the minute I’m meeting a lot of people every day without knowing fully who they are or what they’re about. And I can assure you, if I knew about any allegations, it would have been a completely different story. You all know what I stand for, always. I’ll be more for it in the future. I love you all.”

  • Amerakin Overdose’s Cody Perez Calls Out Rick “St1tch” Thomas (Ex-Mushroomhead): “He Has Some Sort Of Beef Against Us For No Reason”

Amerakin Overdose vocalist Cody Perez has blasted ex-Mushroomhead programmer/percussionist Rick “St1tch” Thomas. His comments were in response to a laugh react Thomas used on a post regarding Amerakin Overdose’s latest single “Time Bomb.”

Perez said the following via Facebook:

“When we did the Mushroomhead tour, this guy hated us so much he went as far as talk trash about us the whole tour and then went on an interview a fan tagged us to further talk shit about us. It’s funny he has some sort of beef against us for no reason other than we wear masks. This clown was the lackey for Skinny for many years. We must have made some sort of lasting impression on him if he still remembers us and he’s laughing at a post we got on a media site. Honestly, the puppet-like mask suits him perfectly. Fuck this guy!”

He also added the following in a separate post:

“Well that was fast. This tool drove a ton of traffic over to the Amerakin Overdose pages and videos and my personal page. To be clear, it was nothing against his bands, it was calling him out for the shit person HE is!

If you look at the comments on my post other people’s experience with him is very consistent. He’s two faced as fuck!”

  • Legendary Drummer Nick Barker: “I Hope To Get A New Kidney Sometime Later This Year”

Nick Barker, who is known for his work with Brujeria, Cradle of Filth, Dimmu Borgir, Lock Up, etc., has shared another health update amid his battle with chronic kidney failure. The drummer “hopes to get a new kidney sometime later this year.”

    Barker told Almarok the following:

“Well, as many of you probably know, I went through kidney failure. I’m stage five chronic kidney disease, which means my kidneys have totally failed and I have to have dialysis four times a week for four hours each time. And this is basically what is keeping me alive right now. I’m on the transplant list, so I hope to get a new kidney sometime later this year. And this means that I cannot tour or make music or travel, because of my dialysis schedule. So, I have a GoFundMe page, which helps me, basically because I cannot earn any money because I can’t work anymore. So, it’s for fans to donate anything if they feel like it. And I appreciate all the help from everyone, and I hope to be back playing the drums very, very soon.”
