  • Thieves Break Into Attack Attack! Drummer Andrew Wetzel’s Storage Unit, Leave Behind The Band’s Merch

    Thieves recently broke into a storage unit belonging to Attack Attack! drummer Andrew Wetzel. However, they apparently decided to leave without taking any of the band’s merch.

    Wetzel commented:

    “Someone broke into my storage unit last night, and I just spent like 35 minutes out in the sweltering heat sweating my absolute ass off trying to figure out if they stole something. And I don’t know if they did, and let me be clear, I’m thankful for that, uh, that I don’t think that anything’s missing.

    However, now everything’s all messed up, including my poor deceased dog’s shit was strewn everywhere, which is highly disrespectful. And dude, what is going on right now? Don’t do stuff like that. That’s extremely rude. Also, you looked at all that Attack Attack! shirts, all the vinyls and CDs and shirts didn’t sell, and you were like, ‘God, what a loser,’ and then you just left all my shit. So you know what? Thank you. I needed that.”

  • Windwaker Premiere “closer” Music Video

    Windwaker have premiered a new video for their new song “closer.” This track is from the band’s new album, “smile, you’re on camera,” which will be released on October 23.

    The group commented on the single:

    “‘closer‘ is an allegory for the struggles of being in a band dealing with rejection, self-doubt, and the resilience in spite of that to keep going with something you’ve given everything to. It’s a message for all to keep trying and strive further toward their goals. This song is the first on the album to highlight a point in life where you have to make the heavy decision to either jump ship and pivot toward a ‘normal life’ or to keep sacrificing in favor of something you’ve invested so much into.”

    A press release also offered details on the album:

    “As a whole, ‘smile, you’re on camera.‘ ruminates on the weight of time and growth, struggles and sacrifice for the better life and authenticity in spite of a world full of superficial and sinister characters and bad actors. It’s a collection of catchy, energetic and heartfelt songs. The album offers a more guitar-forward and gritty, analog-focused backdrop compared to its predecessor, ‘HYPERVIOLENCE‘, while encapsulating the eclectic signature sound of Windwaker up to this point.

    The album is highly introspective and does not follow a linear narrative, instead presenting a series of personal reflections and snapshots that capture the emotional highs and lows of this period. It’s a celebration of how far the band has come and a candid look at the pressure of being seen, leaving listeners with a sense of both resolution and ongoing evolution.”

  • Afterlife Premiere “Empty” Music Video

    Afterlife have premiered a new video for their new song “Empty.” This track is from the band’s new album, “The Pain That Shapes Us,” which will be released on November 6.

    Vocalist Tyler Levenson commented on the song:

    “‘Empty’ navigates the reality of a devastating heartbreak, exploring the weight of emotional emptiness and mental exhaustion. For me, it’s one of the most vulnerable songs on the album, born from a collection of unfortunate experiences woven into one tragic outcome. The emotional honesty guided not only the lyrics but also the sound of the track.
