Sicksense have premiered a new video for their new song “A Moment Of Violence.” You can check that out below. The track is from their new EP, “Funerals,” which will be released on September 25.
The group commented:
“The song discusses death and losing loved ones close to us. It’s a personal battle with God/a higher power, that we emotionally wrestle with and find difficulty and frustration in coming to terms with. There’s an irony in that if God loves us so much, why do we end up suffering in this life and suddenly losing all the ones we truly love to death.
[Musically it] rounds up the angsty frustrations of [our] prior songs with solemness and sadness with Vicky playing piano while singing and thunderstorm sounds resonating in the background, with orchestrations, including violin played by our bassist, Rich. A song that starts off as a moody ballad ends with a full band breakdown to end the EP.”
