Distant Share Music Video For “Heritage” Featuring Lorna Shore’s Will Ramos

Distant have shared an official video for “Heritage” featuring Will Ramos (Lorna Shore). That song serves as the title track of the band’s new album, which will be released on February 10. The group commented:

“‘Heritage‘ is a breathtakingly heavy track yet still emotional, with a huge chorus and pace to last you for days, showcasing the diversity of our Dutch/Slovak collective! At last, the father and son cross blades; during this exhausting battle, they remember the times forgotten as the clash of their blades sparks new light and brings up the twisted revelation of this catastrophic deception.”

Suicide Silence, Emmure, Bodysnatcher, Etc. Members Guest On New Distant Song “Argent Justice”

Distant have premiered a new song titled “Argent Justice.” The track appears on the band’s new album “Heritage“ (out February 10) and it features 16 special guests including: Tomáš Klár (Abbie Falls), Kevin Petersen (Acranius), Marcus Jasak (Acranius), Casey Tyson-Pearce (AngelMaker), Colton Bennet (AngelMaker), Mike Greenwood (AngelMaker), Kyle Medina (Bodysnatcher), Andreas Bjulver (Cabal), Andrew Baena (Carcosa), Johnny Ciardullo (Carcosa), Dan Tucker (Crown Magnetar), Frankie Palmeri (Emmure), Marc Zellweger (Paleface), Eddie Hermida (Suicide Silence), Aaron Matts (ten56.), and Devin Duarte (Worm Shepherd). Distant’s Alan Grnja commented:

“The inspiration for that came from animated shows in the 90s where Spider Man would team up with X-Men and stuff like that! We did that on a track in 2020 called ‘Argent Debt‘ where we had five other people. We were inspired by being on tour in America and so many of us jumping up onstage and playing together. Every vocalist on this track sounds unique. It’s a bright, colorful rainbow of Deathcore singers!”

Distant Members Missing Current Tour Due To Visa Issues

A couple of members of Distant were unable to make the band’s current tour due to visa issues. As a result, the band have been having to perform with an altered lineup.

The group commented:

“As you might have noticed, we are not playing our USA tour in full line up.

Only our drummer Jano and our vocalist Alan were lucky enough to make it to the USA.

We experienced major visa issues and with extreme luck they managed to get theirs just days before their flights were scheduled.

Unfortunately Nouri and Vlad were less lucky and still don’t have their visas.

We started the whole process way ahead and still, beyond our control, failed to receive them in time.

While the band is still playing the whole USA tour, this situation is extremely demotivating and hard for us and it is affecting us badly.

If there is anyone that knows somebody at the American Embassy in The Netherlands that could be of help, please get in contact with us!”
