Winston McCall said the following about recording their music in German:

“This was hands down one of the most unique projects we’ve undertaken. The idea of taking our songs and interpreting them through another language was a massive challenge, but considering the amount of time, love and support that has been shown to us over the years we wanted to commit to doing the project with full integrity.

The result is every effort being made to translate the meaning, spirit, and conviction of these songs in a language that is not our own. We hope the result helps to strengthen the connection this music creates. We offer you these songs out of respect and our heartfelt thanks for all the times you have sung them with us in their original forms. We hope you enjoy them as much as we enjoyed the process of creating them.”

Parkway Drive Share Trailer For New Documentary “Viva The Underdogs”

Parkway Drive have shared a trailer for their new documentary “Viva The Underdogs.” That film will hit Australian theaters on January 22.

Here’s a description of the documentary:

”Viva The Underdogs‘ features over a decade of behind the scenes personal footage, coupled with unprecedented access to the bands most explosive live tours and world’s biggest music festivals. The film gives an incredibly honest and candid look at Parkway Drive’s journey; the good-times, battles, triumphs, and sacrifices.’

Frontman Winston McCall added:

“We have always taken pride in doing things our way. For over fifteen years we have stayed true to ourselves in a world of extremes. We are not the story of shooting star super stardom, we are not the overnight breakout success, we will never be viral and we sure as hell won’t break the internet.

But we have a vision, and we have lived for it, worked for it, bled for it, grown for it and broken for it. We have sacrificed everything and compromised nothing. This is an honest insight into what it takes to survive as the underdogs. Thank you for being part of the story.”
