Connor Garritty commented:

“Writing ‘Feed The Pigs‘ came very naturally for us; one of the least stressful, yet one of the most important songs we have ever written. We have always been very conscious of the world around us, especially the environment. With everything that is going on around us right now, I felt that this song needed to be heard… so inspiration wouldn’t be the word – it is more of a wake-up call! Our society needs to clue in to what is going on! Change has to start right now!”

All Hail The Yeti Premiere “Daughter Of The Morning Star” Music Video

All Hail The Yeti have premiered a new video for their song “Daughter Of The Morning Star,” via Metal Hammer. This song is from the band’s new album, “Screams From A Black Wilderness,” which is available now. The track/video also serves as the prequel in a trilogy, that also features “Before The Flames” and “After The Great Fire.”

Connor Garrity said the following:

“The story beings in the late 1400’s with a pagan witch, or white Wiccan woman who lives alone away from a village of Christian puritans. They’re scared of her because she’s different and doesn’t follow their ideals. The men from the village plan to get rid of her and hunt her down. They rape her, beat her and leave her for dead. She then transforms and summons the power of the devil and takes revenge on the men and the people of the village.”

“I wanted to find a way to tie the three songs together without making it too obvious, so the female lead role is the same girl in all three videos. There are some props that are continuous as well. It was a blast to shoot because we got to dress in costumes and actually play parts in the video!”

Connor Garritty had the following to say:

“‘Mr. Murder‘ was written about my best friend Matt who passed away last year. He was one of the most influential people for me growing up and throughout my music career. The song was originally written in tribute to him and his unbelievable strength and passion for life. He left us unexpectedly before I could show him the song. It was supposed to be a surprise, almost a thank you to him for helping in more ways than he knew.”

“We knew early in the writing of the record that we wanted Brock Lindow on the album. Brock and Matt were friends as well so it seemed fitting that this would be the song he sang on. It was special for me to have Brock on the album and this song in particular because he is one of my best friends as well and such an influence to me as a vocalist. Mr. Murder has become an anthem to my best friend immortalizing him forever. It is very emotional for me when performing this. I go between sadness and great happiness by the end of the song.”

All Hail The Yeti Premiere “Before The Flames” Music Video

All Hail The Yeti have premiered a new video for their new song “Before The Flames,” via Alternative Press. This song is from the band’s new album, “Screams From A Black Wilderness,” which will be released on April 8.

Connor Garritty had the following to say:

“This portion of the story is told from one child’s point of view, the little girl writing the letter to her parents begging them to come save her. The idea for the story was something I came up with and immediately wanted convey visually in addition to musically… from the initial idea I knew I wanted it to be something that would make people feel uncomfortable but not be too gory. It’s more of a ‘suggested’ horror, to think of what these nuns are doing to these little children.”
