Carnifex & 3TEETH Cancel Co-Headlining North American Tour

Carnifex and 3TEETH have cancelled their co-headlining North American tour due to the coronavirus pandemic. The trek, which also featured The Browning and Skold, was supposed to start tomorrow (March 13).

Carnifex said the following:

“Regrettable but inevitable. We are forced by local ordinances and the music industry grinding to a halt to cancel the Meta-X tour. We are gutted by how this has played and like many other bands are now digging out of a massive pit of debt. We will be posting all our tour merch online ASAP. Be safe and Carnifex will return to the road as soon as we are able. 🤘💀🤘 #carnifex #hellishere”

3TEETH also commented:

“It comes with our complete and utter disappoint to announce that we are being forced to cancel our Meta X tour due to the corona virus outbreak mandates. Tour was supposed to start tomorrow and waking up today to this news is not only just a huge bummer but it’s going to absolutely financially cripple the band with how much we had invested into this one. So at the very least you can expect there to be a ton of new merch going online in the next few days. In the mean time don’t forget to glue yourself to the internet, repost as many click bait headlines as you can and do your part in spreading the global panic.”

3TEETH Premiere “Altær” Music Video

3TEETH have premiered a new video for their song “Altær” via Metal Hammer. That track is from the band’s latest album “Metawar.” The clip was filmed at the “Wasteland Weekend” festival in the Mojave Desert and Alexis Mincolla had the following to say about it:

“The vibe was immersive to say the least, and when temperatures dropped to about 40 degrees and the wind speeds kicked up to about 50 mph, it made for a very wild night.”

3TEETH Release Cover Of Foster The People’s “Pumped Up Kicks”

3TEETH have released their cover of Foster The People’s “Pumped Up Kicks.” This track is from the band’s new album “Metawar,“ which will be released on July 5. Alexis Mincolla commented:

“Industrial bands have a long history of subverting popular culture songs. From songs like Revolting Cocks’ version ‘Da Ya Think I’m Sexy?’ or Laibach’s ‘Sympathy for the Devil“. We’ve just always been a fan of this sort of thing and felt it would be a good time to take an iconic song of the late 2000’s and give it some unexpected 2019 industrial darkness, which in the end seemed all too fitting considering the song is about a school shooter.”

3TEETH Premiere “President X” Music Video

3TEETH have premiered a new video for their new song “President X.” This track is from the band’s new album “Metawar,“ which will be released on July 5.

Alexis Mincolla commented:

“‘President X‘ is about an arbitrary figure head that will continue to be replaced, repositioned and repackaged to maintain an illusion of choice and difference in a system that operates on auto-pilot. As the administration pendulum swings back and forth in our bi-partisan shit show, you basically get a new leader who comes in with the goal of undoing what the last guy did, continuing this cycle of futility.

It’s like one of those TV shows that just keeps going on season after season, walking you in circles by throwing in new hackneyed characters and the same trite notions of conflict but in reality the story has no arc and no resolution and by the time the season finale comes, oh and it will come, you’re going to look back on it go holy fuck I want my money back… and no I’m not talking metaphorical money, I’m talking about your actual tax dollars that funded a hot trash show.

I believe there was a fine scholar by the name of Frank Zappa who once said ‘Government is the Entertainment division of the military-industrial complex.’”

3TEETH Premiere New Song “Affluenza”

3TEETH have premiered a new song titled “Affluenza.” This track is from the band’s new album “Metawar,“ which will be released on July 5. Alexis Mincolla commented:

“‘Affluenza‘ is the all-consuming epidemic of our time. It’s a socially transmitted disease that infects via the prosthetic digital nervous system when exposed to the conspicuous consumption based infotoxins emitted from Kim Kardashian‘s ass.”
