Hollywood Vampires, the supergroup featuring Alice Cooper, Johnny Depp, Joe Perry (Aerosmith), and Tommy Henriksen (Alice Cooper, ex-Warlock), have announced a new live album titled “Live In Rio.” The effort, which was recorded during the 2015 Rock In Rio festival in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil, will be available on June 2. Alice Cooper has released a cover of The Velvet Underground’s “Rock & Roll.” The track, which features Johnny “Bee” Badanjek (Detroit Wheels), Steve Hunter (Detroit), Paul Randolph, Joe Bonamassa, and Tommy Henriksen, is from Cooper’s new album “Detroit Stories,” which will be released on February 26.
A number of artists will be joining forces for the “Six String Salute” virtual concert. The event will take place on September 17 and proceeds from it will benefit Crew Nation. Here’s the artists that are set to appear: Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Steve Vai, Tommy Shaw (Styx) with the Cleveland Youth Orchestra, Rich Robinson (The Black Crowes), Halestorm, Rik Emmett (Triumph), Joe Satriani, Joel Hoekstra (Whitesnake), Frank Hannon (Tesla), Alice Cooper’s Nita Strauss, Tommy Henriksen and Ryan Roxie with Kansas’ Richard Williams, Alex Skolnick (Testament), Jennifer Batten, Dave Pirner (Soul Asylum), Big Head Todd & The Monsters, Damon Johnson (Thin Lizzy), Steve Cropper, Jesse Dayton, Steve Hackett (Genesis), Jeff Watson (Night Ranger), Nick Perri (The Underground Thieves), Sammy Boller, Ross the Boss, and Joyous Wolf. “Six String Salute” will be hosted by Steve Black (“The Chop Shop”) and it can be viewed on Live Nation’s YouTube channel. Since Duff McKagan will be out with Guns N’ Roses this summer, Robert DeLeo (Stone Temple Pilots) will be handling the bass duties for Hollywood Vampires on their upcoming tour. The rest of the touring lineup will feature Alice Cooper, Joe Perry, Johnny Depp, Matt Sorum, Bruce Witkin and Tommy Henriksen.

Hollywood Vampires, the supergroup featuring Alice Cooper, Johnny Depp, and Joe Perry (Aerosmith), along with multiple special guests have premiered their cover of The Who’s “My Generation.” This particular track features Cooper, Depp, Tommy Henriksen, Bruce Witkin, and Zak Starkey, and will be on the band’s self-titled debut album, which will be released on September 11.
The details have been revealed for Hollywood Vampires’ self-titled album. The Alice Cooper led project, which also features Joe Perry, Johnny Depp, Paul McCartney, Brian Johnson, Slash, Dave Grohl and multiple other special guests, will release the effort on September 11.
