Back in May 2020, Ice Nine Kills celebrated the 40th anniversary of “Friday The 13th” by performing a parody of Fountains Of Wayne’s “Stacy’s Mom,” which they called “Jason’s Mom,” as part of Fearless Records‘ “Fearless At Home” virtual festival. Nickelback Team Up With Google Photos For “Photograph” Parody Ad

Nickelback have released a parody version of their song “Photograph” as part of a new ad for Google Photos. The clip is called “Look At Your Photographs” and it can be seen below. Chad Kroeger commented:

“Fifteen years ago, we had no idea that the photos on our mobile devices would become such a ubiquitous part of all of our lives. When Google approached us with the idea about marrying the song with Google Photos we felt like it would be a fun and nostalgic way to give the song a lyrical refresh and share some of our favorite memories.”

“Two Minutes To Late Night” have shared footage of their host Jordan “Gwarsenio Hall” Olds performing a quarantine parody cover of Elton John‘s “Step Into Christmas” with Blöthar The Berserker (GWAR), Balsac The Jaws Of Death (GWAR), Pustulus Maximus (GWAR), Stephen Brodsky (Mutoid Man, Cave In), Ben Koller (Mutoid Man, Converge), and Kyle Kinane. Tool’s Danny Carey Takes Part In Animated U.S. Presidential Debate Parody “Big Babies Debate”

Tool drummer Danny Carey and his Legend Of The Seagullman bandmate Jimmy Hayward have taken part in a new animated parody of the U.S. presidential debates. The video is called “Big Babies Debate” and it also features Will Sasso (‘Mad TV‘, ‘The Three Stooges‘) and Joseph Sikora (‘Ozak‘, ‘Power‘). Hayward commented:

“With an election this important coming up we thought we should get some friends together of influence and try and get the vote out. We intentionally made the battle a dead heat so the real message was voting. We had to rush to do it in just a few days but we had a blast and hope it get’s people fired up to vote!”

Trapt‘s Chris Taylor Brown recently made headlines after going on a Twitter rampage and numerous rock/metal musicians have since blasted the singer. Now, Defiler have even shared a parody of Trapt’s “Headstrong.” Defiler‘s Jake Shaw said the following about that:
