According to the The New York Hardcore Chronicles Page, Joey Image has sadly passed away at the age of 63. The musician, who served as Misfits’ drummer from 1978-1980, had been battling liver cancer and was keeping people updated on his condition through GoFundMe.
A piece of the royalties for Misfits’ “American Psycho” (1997), “Famous Monsters” (1999), and “Cuts From The Crypt” (2001) are currently up for auction on royaltyexchange.com. The winner will get the rights to a share of all sales, streaming, and sync royalties.
