Gerri Miller has sadly passed away following a battle with cancer. The journalist served as the editor for Metal Edge and also contributed to many other outlets such as People, Glamour, Muscle & Fitness, etc. A number of rock/metal artists have taken to social media to pay tribute to Miller:

Mick Mars (Mötley Crüe) Teases New Solo Songs “Gimme Blood” & “Shake The Cage”

Mick Mars (Mötley Crüe) has posted some teasers for two new tracks titled “Gimme Blood” and “Shake The Cage.” These songs will be on his upcoming solo album, which also features John Corabi (ex-Mötley Crüe).

John Corabi To Work On New Music With Mick Mars?

In a new interview with Do You Know Jack?, John Corabi, who previously fronted Mötley Crüe from 1992-96, revealed that him and Mick Mars may work on some new music together, after Mötley Crüe finishes their final tour.

He said the following:

“A lot of people already know about it, but as soon as he’s done doing this next tour, Mick and I have had some discussions about possibly going in and doing some writing together and doing a record, and maybe going out and doing some shows. So we’ll see how that works.”
