I am super excited to announce my solo CL livestream celebrating the year anniversary of the ‘God Bless The Renegades‘ album!

I was unable to tour this record due to Covid. Like every band, the pause button was hit and safety has been our main priority. As much as playing these songs with you in person would be ideal, I’d like to do this stream and share the live energy of the songs with you via Livestream.

I’ll play the record in its entirety along with a couple other surprise songs. Please join me March 12th and let’s throw down TOGETHER! Thanks so much for your support on this release!!”

Godsmack’s Sully Erna Recruits Shinedown, Papa Roach, Staind, Etc. Members For “Live From The Living Room” Charity Fundraiser

Sully Erna (Godsmack) has announced a “Live From The Living Room” fundraiser for The Scars Foundation. The event will stream on the frontman’s YouTube channel and the Foundation’s Facebook page on August 6 at 5:00 p.m PT / 8:00 p.m. ET and it will feature Godsmack, Erna solo (feat. Chris Lester and Máiréad Nesbitt), Staind’s Aaron Lewis, Shinedown’s Brent Smith and Zach Myers, Papa Roach, Saint Asonia’s Mike Mushok and Adam Gontier, Extreme’s Nuno Bettencourt, and Sevendust’s Clint Lowery.

Erna commented:

“I had always looked for ways to give back and help others in some way after reaching certain levels of success in my life. But I could never really figure out where to dedicate my time and attention and what was important to me, or where I even had experience to offer. One day, I started thinking about my own life and being a survivor of such an extremely rough inner city and that’s where all my experience was. It was all the battle wounds and scars I’ve carried that made me stronger and made me the man I am today. Instead of being ashamed of my imperfections, or hiding from them, I learned how to embrace them and grow from those experiences. I want to share that with people and lend my stories, my experiences, and my theories on how you can overcome challenging times rather than letting them ruin your life.

And that’s why The Scars Foundation is so important to me. It’s personal. It’s my life. And it’s important that people who struggle with these mental health issues and ‘imperfections,’ or ‘scars,’ as we call them, learn how to embrace them, and show them to the world loudly and proudly!

I hope the work we do with The Scars Foundation inspires people to come forward and share their stories so that those stories inspire more people to come forward and break the silence and internal struggles.

Just remember: you’re not alone. And we’re all imperfectly perfect. Just the way we’re supposed to be!”

In addition to the livestream, fans can also participate in a charity auction HERE.

Clint Lowery On New Sevendust Album: “I Think This Is One Of Our Strongest Records In A While”

During a recent interview with Front Row Entertainment Live, Clint Lowery talked a bit about the new Sevendust album. The guitarist said the following:

“I think this is one of our strongest records in a while. I’m proud of all the music we do. Every band likes to say, ‘Oh, yeah, the new record is the best one we’ve ever done.’ I think it’s a very reflective record for where we’re at musically, where we’re at as a band. So that’s always a goal. I think we just wanna be genuine. We don’t wanna put out a dud record. Not everyone’s gonna like it; we understand that. We just try to do what we do best. We’re not the heaviest band in the world; we’re not a pop-rock band at all either. We’re just this aggressive band that has our own thing, and we stay true to that.”

Sevendust Guitarist Clint Lowery Shares Cover Of Nine Inch Nails‘ “Hurt“

Sevendust’s Clint Lowery has shared a quarantine cover of Nine Inch Nails‘ “Hurt.“ You can check that out below:

Lowery commented:

“My cover of “Hurt” from NIN. Trent Reznor has been a hero of mine for many years. Musically no one has ever consistently inspired me. From the first song I heard until the most current piece he has released I’ve found tremendous inspiration and escape in his work.

When we covered this years ago on the day Johnny Cash passed away it helped me find a voice for myself. It made me realize you don’t have to have a technical and trained voice to sing with heart.

I don’t consider myself a lead singer in fact, but I do believe what I sing. I believe the words and feel the pain, happiness and relief when I sing.”
