“Lucas Vidal and I met through mutual friends a long time ago. He wanted to work on a song together, so we started experimenting and developing what would become ‘Apocalyptic Dance‘. Some of the song was sung in Armenian. It is a rock/dance song with a lot of unique elements with lyrics that talk about where we are and where we’re headed.”

  • Left To Suffer Premiere “This Comfort Won’t Last Here Long” Video

Left To Suffer have premiered a new video for their new song “This Comfort Won’t Last Here Long.” Vocalist Taylor Barber told Knotfest the following about the single:

“This song feels like a new beginning after being sick and tired of being pushed and pulled by toxic energy. We have gone through the dirt with past relationships and this is our stand to start looking out for us and our families best interests. Gritty and full of emotion this is the new wave of Left To Suffer.”

  • OTTTO Recruit Nick Oliveri (Ex-Kyuss, Etc.) For New Song “Sweaty Pool”

OTTTO, the project featuring bassist Tye Trujillo, the son of Metallica’s Robert Trujillo, have premiered a new video for their new single “Sweaty Pool.” The song, which features Nick Oliveri (ex-Kyuss, etc.), serves as the title track of the band’s new EP, which will be released on November 28 as part of Record Store Day’s Black Friday.

    Tye commented:

“This EP represents us entering a new chapter, with every track taking a different approach. It shows the diversity of dynamics we have. We’re looking forward to sharing our music with the world and can’t wait to play these tunes live.”

    Oliveri continued:

“’Sweaty Pool’ is a crushing song that came together musically by the kick-ass, metal-driven heavy rock band OTTTO. These younger bros are great at their craft—individually and collectively—so when I was asked to write some lyrics and sing on one of the new tracks, it was a no-brainer.”

    Tye also added:

“I think this track shows how the universe works in an interestingly cool way. I grew up heavily influenced by Nick’s music, and years later here we are collaborating with him. Working with Nick is so legendary. It’s truly an honor—he’s a huge inspiration to me. The world isn’t ready for this track.”

We picked and chose from a European tour — picked and chose from a selection of 14 different shows. They really centered around — it came down to four shows that were good, and we picked from them. It’s a short record, though. It’s gonna be just a single vinyl and a single CD. And then we’re going in — we signed to Napalm Records, and the studio album will be out in October next year.”

Andreas is a childhood friend of Ben and it means a lot to us when people close to us are both willing and enthusiastic when offered to come onboard the Slomosa-train. Thank you for checking the video out, we hope you like it.
