  • As I Lay Dying Premiere “If I Fall” Music Video

As I Lay Dying have premiered a new video for their new song “If I Fall.” The track is the second to feature the band’s new lineup, which consists of frontman Tim Lambesis bassist/vocalist Chris Clancy (Mutiny Within), guitarist Bill Hudson (NorthTale, Tommy Vext), guitarist Don Vedda, and drummer Tim Yeung (Tommy Vext, ex-Divine Heresy).

    Lambesis commented:

“I wrote the first version of ‘If I Fall‘ before the new lineup even came together, and I knew the song had real potential. As each musician joined the process, that potential only grew — everyone brought something that elevated what I’d already started. Musically it hints at what’s possible with this refreshed energy, and lyrically it reflects the kind of people I want around me for this next and best chapter.”

As previously reported, As I Lay Dying’s latest mass exodus occurred in 2024, leaving Lambesis as the sole member. The controversial vocalist, who previously served prison time for trying to hire a hitman to kill one of his former wives, was left in that position after footage of him engaging in altercations with his latest wife and their dog surfaced online.

Despite the controversy, Lambesis recently returned to the stage for a fall European tour.

  • Watch Prototype Trailer for “Voivod: The Nuclear Warrior” Video Game

A new prototype trailer has been released for Chaosmonger Studio’s upcoming Voivod game, “Voivod: The Nuclear Warrior.” You can check that out below. The video game recently entered its full production phase following a successful Kickstarter campaign. The “retro-inspired action-adventure [is] set in the dystopian sci-fi universe of legendary metal band Voivod” and it will combine “fast-paced combat, deep exploration, and a twisted visual style drawn from Voivod’s iconic artwork and sound.” Nicola Piovesan, founder of Chaosmonger Studio, commented:

“Our goal is to make a game that feels like stepping inside a Voivod album cover. This new trailer captures the atmosphere and energy that define the band’s universe. It’s both a tribute and a continuation of their legacy.”
