Sentinels Premiere “Embers” Video

Sentinels have premiered a new video for their song “Embers.” This track is from the band’s latest album “Collapse By Design.“

Vocalist Josh Hardiman commented:

“I cannot understate the sheer effort and creative ingenuity that has been pumped into this record by these guys. I am a very lucky guy to have been able to be apart of it. From Chris, Danny, Dave, and Thomas’s instrumentation to Dave’s capacity to write an emotionally engaging story, there is something for everyone to appreciate here.

‘Embers’ is the final single of the record and is the most destructive of them. I believe it was strategic both in its placement in the album as well as the decision to release it last. It details our protagonist being consumed by obsession and the visuals are meant to emphasize the metaphor that obsession is like the destructive force of fire. It is punishing start to finish and we couldn’t be more proud of it.

For as long as I can remember I have wanted to feel apart of group that has a drive to create and a will to inspire. I have found a home in Sentinels. I hope that you too feel seen and understood in our music, for what is a home without those attributes.”

Sentinels Premiere New Song “Comfort In Familiar Pain”

Sentinels have premiered a new song titled “Comfort In Familiar Pain.” This track is from the band’s new album “Collapse By Design,“ which will be released on October 22. Drummer Dave Rucki commented:

“‘C.I.F.P.‘ touches on the feelings that take place after ending a toxic relationship. Even after you’re free from it, you sometimes battle and question whether or not you deserve better when it comes to future encounters & relationships. I found myself in this particular situation on more than one occasion. I felt like I was punishing myself in a way by allowing myself to get into relationships I knew weren’t good for me, all because I ended good relationships in the past that didn’t need to end. Writing the lyrics for this record has been the most therapeutic experience of my life and I hope that people can find something here that resonates with them.”

Sentinels Premiere “To Wither Away” Video

Sentinels have premiered a new video for their new song “To Wither Away.” This track is from the band’s new album “Collapse By Design,“ which will be released on October 22. Drummer Dave Rucki commented:

“‘To Wither Away‘ was the first song I wrote lyrics/vocals for on this record. From the very first time I heard the demo, I heard the chorus loud and clear in my head, and it all just flowed naturally from there. TWA is about watching the best parts of yourself fade away. You’re becoming a hollow emotionless shell of who you once were. It also touches on toxic relationships, and how much they can change you as a person.”

Sentinels Premiere New Song “Tyrant”

Sentinels have premiered a new song titled “Tyrant.” Drummer Dave Rucki commented:

“Lyrically, Tyrant is about living under a person of power who uses their position and authority to oppress and dictate, rather than be the leader the people need. It’s personally one of my favorite tracks we’ve ever written as a band. I think this track perfectly captures the type of aggression and intensity we strive for when we play live. Once we heard it mixed and complete with Josh’s vocals, we were all losing our minds. We hope it hits you the same way it hit us, and we look forward to the day we can perform it live for you.”

Sentinels Sign With SharpTone Records, Premiere “Inertia” Video

Sentinels have signed a new deal with SharpTone Records for their upcoming debut album. With this news, the band have also premiered a new video for their new song “Inertia“:

Drummer Dave Rucki commented:

“We are beyond excited to announce our signing with SharpTone Records. The day the label launched, we knew that if there was a home for us, it was now realized. To have them backing us, and to even be writing this now is surreal. ‘Inertia’ perfectly represents the level of aggression we aim for in our music. With Josh’s voice, we were able to elevate that aggression and further convey the more emotional moments in the song. ‘Inertia’ is about suicidal thoughts and confiding in somebody close only to be told “that’s selfish”, then deciding whether to go through with it, or prove that you can overcome it to appease those around you. We have been a band since 2012, but now solidifying our lineup with Josh on vocals, we can confidently say, this is what we had always envisioned for Sentinels.”

Vocalist Josh Hardiman added:

“SharpTone, Sentinels, and the team behind the scenes have taken a huge risk on me, the gravity of which I most certainly feel, but the difference between this weight and my burdens since past, is that now with each passing day I become stronger and more alive. More and more equipped to handle and weather new storms for now I am living a life that I want to have gifted to me by those who believed in me. I will not fail with their continued support. This is a new beginning and I hope that everyone who listens to “Inertia” want to embark on this new chapter with us.”
