Shadow Of Intent Premiere “From Ruin… We Rise” Music Video

Shadow Of Intent have premiered a new video for their new song “From Ruin… We Rise.” This track is from the band’s new album “Elegy,” which will be released on January 14. Vocalist Ben Duerr commented:

“This song speaks about the inhumane suffering endured in the Ukraine. Surviving mass famine, slave labor, and essentially being used as cannon fodder in the world’s largest war in history, the nation still retains their identity, even as they are gripped in civil strife. This song mourns their fallen, while hoping their innocents can remain strong, despite being locked in disarray and subjected to atrocities. Let this also be a reminder to our own compatriots that no matter the current political climate, no matter the disagreements, we will survive it, as we are one.”

“Elegy” Track Listing:

01. “Farewell”
02. “Saurian King”
03. “The Coming Fire”
04. “Of Fury”
05. “Intensified Genocide”
06. “Life Of Exile”
07. “Where Millions Have Come To Die”
08. “From Ruin… We Rise”
09. “Blood In The Sands Of Time”
10. “Reconquest”
11. “Elegy I: Adapt”
12. “Elegy II: Devise”
13. “Elegy III: Overcome”

Shadow Of Intent Premiere “Intensified Genocide” Music Video

Shadow Of Intent have premiered a new video for their new song “Intensified Genocide.” Ben Duerr commented:

“With this song, we touch on some of the darkest chapters in human history, often swept under the rug or unheard of. Events that may happen anywhere, due to the carelessness or shortsightedness of dignitaries.”

As I Lay Dying, Whitechapel & Shadow Of Intent Cancel North American Tour

As I Lay Dying have officially cancelled their tour with Whitechapel and Shadow Of Intent due to the coronavirus pandemic. The band commented:

“AILD fans, This may not come as a surprise but due to the global pandemic and uncertain status of live entertainment, we’ve decided to cancel the Burn To Emerge Tour that was set to take place in February/March 2021 with Whitechapel and Shadow of Intent. We feel this is the best course of action given the circumstances and would prefer our fans to have their money back sooner than later. Please contact your point of purchase for refunds. We remain optimistic for a long term solution to the Covid-19 crisis and hope to re-connect with our fans in the near future. In the meantime, please take care of each other.”

Shadow Of Intent Announce New Drummer, Premiere “Gravesinger” Video

Shadow Of Intent have officially welcomed Bryce Butler (Abigail Williams, ex-The Faceless, etc.) to the band as their new drummer. He will be replacing Anthony Barone in the group. In other news, Shadow Of Intent have also premiered a new video for “Gravesinger” off their latest album “Melancholy.“

The band issued the following statement:

“Today we must announce that we have parted ways with our friend and drummer Anthony Barone. His contributions to the band have been amazing and we have no doubt he will have an incredible future in whatever path he follows. Anthony’s statement can be seen here:

“Unfortunately, the time has come for me to part ways with Shadow Of Intent. Recently I chose to pursue some other opportunities that began to interfere with my commitment to the band. So, I’ve decided it’s best that they continue on without me. I want to thank everyone who has supported me during my time with Shadow, and I wish them nothing but the best moving forward!”

With that being said, we are very pleased to announce our friend Bryce Butler will be taking over the drum position as of today. Bryce has been our touring drummer ever since Melancholy was released and has absolutely nailed our drum parts for every show we’ve had with him.

Some of you may have seen Bryce performing with groups such as The Faceless, Galactic Empire, or Abigail Williams. We are very excited to see what he brings to the table musically for the band and we are very excited to continue working on the next record with him.

We also are pleased to present our new music video for Gravesinger. The video was shot and edited by our good friend Dylan Gould who captured many special moments of us on our recent headline tour. Enjoy the video and relive some of those nights with us, we hope to see you all soon!”
