Genocide Pact Streaming New Self-Titled Album

Genocide Pact are streaming their new self-titled album in full via Brooklyn Vegan. That effort will officially be released on December 3. Tim Mullaney commented:

“This album reflects on the feeling of watching the world crumble while dealing with personal tragedy.”

Genocide Pact Premiere New Song “Deprive / Degrade”

Genocide Pact have premiered a new song titled “Deprive / Degrade.” This track is from the band’s new self-titled album, which will be released on December 3.

Vocalist/guitarist Tim Mullaney commented:

“This song is an homage to our faster influences… old school grindcore bands like Terrorizer, Napalm Death, and Assück. We’ve always had parts that were influenced by these bands but this time we decided to do a 100% fast song for the speed freaks. The lyrics of this song describe a generation that is increasingly socially isolated, with world views formed by what gets to your screen.

Specifically, this touches on the fine line between entertainment and information relating to negative events. The ratings on war, terrorism, shootings, police violence, and on and on are so massive, it implies to some extent, that a lot of people are subconsciously entertained by the fucked up stories that dominate our media. At a certain point, the news goes from informing people to placing them in the center of a snuff film.”

Genocide Pact Premiere New Song “Purged Flesh”

Genocide Pact have premiered a new song titled “Purged Flesh.” This track is from the band’s new self-titled album, which will be released on December 3. Vocalist/guitarist Tim Mullaney commented:

“This was the first song to materialize for this record. It was kind of a mashup of two ideas- one being a heavy, standard verse chorus rock and roll ass beater and the other being psychedelic but in a negative way. I guess my idea was to have it sound like Jimi Hendrix if he hated everything and had a horrible attitude. Lyrically, this song deals with getting dealt a shitty hand in life and trying to self medicate and eventually realizing that you are running away from your problems on a treadmill and getting nowhere.”

Genocide Pact Premiere “Perverse Dominion” Music Video

Genocide Pact have premiered a new video for their new song “Perverse Dominion.” This track is from the band’s new self-titled album, which will be released on December 3.

Tim Mullaney said the following about the song:

“Lyrically, this song is about how, as humans, our greatest strength is our mind – and in a world of people stepping over each other to get ahead, the mind is the first thing targeted by powerful people trying to keep you below them. Every day we are manipulated by corporations and politicians that think we are idiots – make their jobs harder and don’t be one.”

He also added the following about the album:

“You turn on the news and see mass shootings, a global pandemic, endless war, and corporations and politicians trying to sell you bullshit. You pick up your phone and another friend or family member has died. On top of that, you’re broke as fuck and work endlessly for a boss that doesn’t even know your name. You find yourself paranoid, pissed off, and embracing nihilism.”
