Caliban have premiered a new video for their new song “VirUS.” This track features Heaven Shall Burn’s Marcus Bischoff and it will appear on the band’s new album “Dystopia,” which is set to be released on April 22. Frontman Andreas Dörner commented:

“It’s not about a real virus like COVID, but about ideas planted in our heads that spread like one and eat us from the inside out. Moreover, it is a concentrated charge of more than 20 years of friendship, a real metal mixture that will wreck your neck.”

Caliban have shared an official video for “Dystopia” featuring Annisokay’s Christoph Wieczorek. This song is the title track of the band’s new album, which will be released on April 22. Caliban’s Andreas Dörner commented:

“‘Dystopia‘ is about the world being fake. Who are you in this world, or especially in the technological / digital age behind our screens where you can be anyone.”

Caliban have premiered a new video for their new song “Ascent Of The Blessed.” This track will appear on the band’s upcoming album “Dystopia.” Andreas Dörner commented:

“This song is inspired by my imagination of a near-death-experience and the question about my life. It’s about the question if one is a good or an evil person.”

Caliban Premiere “nICHts” Video

Caliban have premiered a new video for “nICHts” off their new album “Zeitgeister.” The effort, which will be released on May 14, will feature the aforementioned track, as well as new German versions of various past songs. Andreas Dörner commented:

“Who am I, where do I belong? Disorientation, hopelessness, fear, helplessness – the feeling of depression, feelings that can have multiple reasons. It’s feelings that many of us can relate to, especially these days and during the ongoing pandemic. ‘nICHts‘ is dealing with these really dark places that are reflected by our protagonist who is dreaming about taking his own life. What is really important to the band though: Suicide is not a solution. If you feel like you are getting lost in these feelings, there are people ready to help you. Please reach out.”

Caliban Premiere “Intoleranz” Video

Caliban have premiered a new video for the new German version of “Intolerance.” This version of the track is titled “Intoleranz” and it will appear on the band’s new album “Zeitgeister,” which is set to be released on May 14. That effort will feature new German versions of some of the band’s past songs, as well as one new track. Andreas Dörner commented:

“The song was originally called ‘Intolerance’, it is a very old track from ‘A Small Boy In A Grey Heaven’. In a nutshell the motto is: I will stay different. The song is a plea for individualism and individual fulfilment and against intolerance.”

Caliban Re-Record Songs In German For New Album “Zeitgeister”

Caliban have announced that they will be releasing a new album titled “Zeitgeister” on May 14. The effort will feature new German versions of some of the band’s past songs, as well as one new track.

“It turned out to be surprisingly tricky. While I feel more at home with my native German it made it a lot more complicated, as I had more options to phrase something.”
