It was previously announced that Otep would no longer be part of the Civil Unrest tour and now she has issued a statement claiming that she will not perform, because she was sexually assaulted by previously unannounced opening act, Terror Universal’s, vocalist Chad “ROTT” Armstrong. It has been revealed that Ill Niño and Kittie have now been set to co-headline the 2015 “Civil Unrest” tour. The tour will also feature special guests, 36 Crazyfists. Otep will no longer be part of this run. Tour dates are expected to be announced soon.

More bands have been revealed for the U.S. Knotfest in San Bernardino, CA. The newly announced acts include: Fear Factory, Napalm Death, Satyricon, Otep, Prong, Amen, Chelsea Grin, Alterbeast, Immolation, Attika 7, Exmortus, and Rattlehead. The festival will take place October 25 – 26, with a kickoff party on October 24.
