Joining previously announced acts, Iron Maiden, and Rammstein, will be: Korn, Deftones, Megadeth, Ghost, Volbeat, Trivium, Anthrax, Biffy Clyro, Amon Amarth, Gojira, Sabaton, Rival Sons, and Down.

Black Sabbath will be headlining the June 11 date of the 2016 UK Download Festival. They are the second act to be announced, following Iron Maiden who are headlining the June 12 date. The full event will take place June 10-12 at Donington Park.
