Scientists recently honored Deep Purple’s Ian Paice and Meshuggah’s Tomas Haake by naming some ancient fossils after them. The two specimens, Ophiopetagno Paicei and Muldaster Haakei, are extinct brittle stars that were taken from 428-million-year-old rocks located on the Swedish island of Gotland.
