Crypta (Ex-Nervosa, Ex-Burning Witches, Etc.) Premiere “From The Ashes” Video

Crypta (ex-Nervosa, ex-Burning Witches, etc.) have premiered a new video for their new song “From The Ashes.” This track is from the band’s new album “Echoes Of The Soul,” which will be released on June 11.

Bassist/vocalist Fernanda Lira commented:

“The song is basically about the well-known tale of the phoenix, but in a more philosophical sense. It talks about the ever-changing cycles of life, about the many endings and beginnings we have to go through, about how many old versions of ourselves need to figuratively die in order for us to keep growing and evolving as human beings, and finally, about building resilience to endure all these rebirths.”

André Gustavo, movie director at O2 Filmes, added:

“I believe the song perfectly matches the current moment we’re living, during which all humanity needs to reinvent itself and be reborn ‘From The Ashes’. The video clip preparation itself can also be translated through it: building up such a big production during this terrible moment we’re living was a big challenge to all of us. I believe, for all of that, from the creative and cinematographic perspective, we had a great final outcome for the videom”

Gatecreeper have premiered a new video for their new song “From The Ashes.” This track is from the band’s new album “Deserted,” which will be released on October 4. Chase Mason commented:

“‘From The Ashes‘ is the most anthemic song we have ever written. Although we have flirted with the idea in the past, there are more melodic guitar leads in this song than ever before. I’d say this one is primed and ready for the European Metal Festival circuit.”

Phoenix Rising Premiere “Lights Out” Video

Phoenix Rising have premiered a new video for their song “Lights Out.” This track is from the band’s upcoming debut album “From The Ashes.”

The group commented:

“The newest single from Phoenix Rising, ‘Lights Out’ is one of the most aggressive songs in our repertoire. This is an anthem for those people who are constantly getting kicked down by life and the ongoing struggles that never seem to cease. We will never be beaten! ‘You think its an easy win, I am a phoenix and I just rise again.’

For the video, we decided to make it a love letter to UFC and Esports since everyone in the band enjoys MMA matches and competitive video games. We wanted a high energy music video that shows a day in the life of a MMA fighter and Esports Street Fighter 5 gamer in parallel as they get ready for their respective tournament matches.

The two fighters awaken with purpose and the video instantly delves into their day. The fighters train, practice combinations, and go to the tournament all culminating in the final knockout against their nemesis.

The video showcases Phoenix Rising not only performing in the octagon ring, we wanted each member to have a cameo in the video as well!

‘Lights Out’ has a ton of attitude and is built to get the blood pumping with driving beats combined with aggressive riffs. With lyrics like “Step inside the ring I’m ready to go”, we wanted “Lights Out” to give you the motivational energy to get up and fight for what you want out of life.”
