  • Galactic Empire Share Cover Of “Hedwig’s Theme” From “Harry Potter”

Galactic Empire are streaming a cover of “Hedwig’s Theme” from the “Harry Potter” films. That composition was originally created by John Williams. The track is from the band’s new album, “Cinemetal,” which will be released on October 24. Lord Sihk said the following about the single:

“Attention Wizards, Witches, and Muggles! The Emperor has commissioned our brand new single “Harry Potter” for an official streaming release. Feel the ultimate power of unrelenting shred and blast beats as our medley of the original John Williams score sonically annihilates your ear drums. The technical prowess of this particular piece drove us to madness more than “Mad-Eye” Moody himself. Cast your ears into the Goblet of Fire and experience a metal tech-prog journey that not even a Nimbus 2001 could carry you on. Then let us know what you think in the comments of your favorite social media platform.”

  • Moodring Premiere “Half-Life” Video

Moodring have premiered a new video for their new song “Half-Life.” Frontman Hunter Young commented:

“‘Half-Life’ was one of the first songs written after I received a life-changing medical diagnosis and was forced to grieve losing the person that I thought I was and had identified as for most of my sentient life. It was a devastating blow to an already-tarnished nervous system. This song and sub-sequential songs were my way of coping and writing an obituary for the person I lost in that doctor’s office. But when looking at ‘Half-Life’ through a broader lens, I believe anyone who’s ever been forced to face realities or truths they cannot change can relate in ways that weren’t the original intention.”

  • Matt Byrne Offers Update On New Hatebreed Album: “It’s About 90 Percent, 85 Percent Done”

During a recent interview with 107.7 The Bone, Hatebreed’s Matt Byrne offered an update on the band’s new album. According to him, “it’s about 90 percent, 85 percent done.”

    Byrne said the following:

“We just released a single [‘Make The Demons Obey’] over the summer. We have a new record that’ll be coming out next year — not sure when, but it’s about 90 percent, 85 percent done. [We’re] still tweaking some stuff, but next year’s our target [release].

We released a single, ‘Make The Demons Obey’. We’ve been playing it live. We’re playing it tonight. It’s very fast. It’s heavy. It’s HATEBREED. It has HATEBREED all over it. So, it’s a lot of fun to play.

It’s always fun playing the new stuff. We’ve been playing ‘I Will Be Heard’ since 2002, so as much as you love that song, it’s fun to play newer stuff.”
