Wristmeetrazor have premiered a new video for their new song “This Summer’s Sorrow II: Growing Old In The Waiting Place.” This track is from the band’s new album “Replica Of A Strange Love,” which will be released on June 11. Justin Fornof told Knotfest.com the following about the song:
“’This Summer’s Sorrow II: Growing Old in the Waiting Place’ is the conclusion to a triptych of singles coming off Replica of a Strange Love. The singles do tell a story – just as the record does – and this is the exasperated final metamorphosis from unfeeling shell to hollow husk.”
Wristmeetrazor have premiered a new song titled “Anemic (The Same Six Words).” This track is from the band’s new album “Replica Of A Strange Love,” which will be released on June 11. Justin Fornof told Alternative Press the following:
“The song is an observation I’ve made over years of playing music and being involved in music scenes. It’s indicative of both human nature and the insecurity-plagued social media nightmare we routinely subject ourselves to. We are uniquely judged by peers who don’t know us, who secretly anticipate our failures. I think it’s the most relatable set of lyrics on the record.”
Wristmeetrazor have premiered a new video for their new song “Last Tango In Paris.” This track features Isaac Hale (Knocked Loose) and it will appear on the band’s new album “Replica Of A Strange Love,” which is set to be released on June 11.
Vocalist/bassist Justin Fornof told Revolver the following:
“[It’s] about desire and satisfaction through a nihilistic lens. When writing for the record it felt important to have a track that emphasizes the futility of complacency. We’ve been excited about this one from the first day we began writing in preproduction and Isaac‘s vocals added a lot to the finished product.”
Hale added:
“I think the coolest part about singing on ‘Tango‘ … is that I was there for the creation of the song itself. That was a song that we were all so excited about from the very beginning. It covered new ground for the band, and we knew it had to be a single.
I was asked to sing on it very spur of the moment, but it made sense because that was our most exciting song we made together. I can’t thank them enough for involving me in the song and featuring me in the video. It’s very sick to be a part of something you’re also a fan of.”

Wristmeetrazor have shared a new song titled “Take Your Shot, Funboy,” along with a cover of The Sisters Of Mercy’s “Black Planet.” The band commented:
“The Sisters Of Mercy are a band we’ve all been huge fans of as long as we’ve played music. With the direction the band is headed ‘Black Planet‘ felt like a song we could do justice to, and that made sense. ‘Take Your Shot, Funboy‘ is an ode to revenge. It reads exactly how it was meant to be perceived.”
