Tonight Alive Cancel U.S. Tour

Tonight Alive have cancelled their U.S. tour with I The Migthy and Doll Skin. The band made the decision “in the interest of personal well-being and professional longevity.”

The group said the following:

“Dear Humans. It’s with heavy but knowing hearts that we have come to the decision to cancel our upcoming U.S. tour for Jan/Feb. 2019. Our touring schedule over the years has been demanding and truthfully the makeup of our entire reality. Reaching the end of a particularly turbulent year, we are seeing the need to address and prioritize our mental and physical health. So in the interest of personal well-being and professional longevity, Tonight Alive will be taking a hiatus from international touring.

“We are treating this as a matter of the heart, mind, body and soul and hope you can accept our sincere apology to those we are letting down. Despite the intensities of 2017/18, we have continuously felt the love, connection and support from you all. Thank you for exploring and expressing yourselves so purely and fearlessly in the Underworld era.

“We are inspired by you and immensely grateful for this chapter of memories. Please be kind to yourselves. We won’t be far away.”

Tonight Alive Premiere New Video For “Disappear” Feat. Lynn Gunn (PVRIS)

Tonight Alive have premiered a new video for their new song “Disappear” feat. Lynn Gunn (PVRIS). This track will appear on the band’s new album, “Underworld,“ which will be released on January 12. Jenna McDougall commented:

“’Disappear’ is a song about the escapist inside all of us. As you can expect from Tonight Alive, the lyrics discuss freedom, but this time with a flavour of anonymity and detachment.’Disappear’ was written with the intention of sounding neither like Pvris or Tonight Alive, and aimed to capture the sonic imagery of a long straight highway out of your comfort zone.”

Tonight Alive Premiere “Crack My Heart” Video

Tonight Alive have premiered a new video for their new song “Crack My Heart.” This track will appear on the band’s new album, “Underworld,“ which will be released on January 12.

Jenna McDougall commented:

“The concept of cracking the heart is to allow the precious, vulnerable self to come through and be free. The painful, yet liberating experience involves the emotional and energetic decalcification of the hardened heart.

The lyrics follow my conversation with a ‘winged man’, a conscious figure, who offers space and safety to do my healing with. In my experience, when you are seen as your authentic self by another, you come to recognise your reflection more accurately and lovingly. ‘Crack My Heart’ is a tribute to the way that love from the divine masculine elevates and holds space for the divine feminine to flourish.”

Corey Taylor (Slipknot, Stone Sour) To Guest On New Tonight Alive Song

Corey Taylor (Slipknot, Stone Sour) will be guesting on a new Tonight Alive track titled “My Underworld.” The song will appear on the band’s new album, “Underworld,“ which will be released on January 12. Vocalist Jenna McDougall told the Newcastle Herald the following about Taylor’s guest spot:

“He’s just a really great man who was happy to lend his voice to our song and expressed he’s a fan of our music, which is hard to believe and it was so heartwarming to hear that.”

“Underworld” Track Listing:

01. “Book Of Love”
02. “Temple”
03. “Disappear” (feat. PVRIS’ Lyn Gunn)
