Adam Gontier Open To Reunion With Three Days Grace: “Something Like That Is Most Likely Down The Road”

During an interview with Rock Feed, ex-Three Days Grace singer Adam Gontier was asked about the possibility of a reunion with the band. He responded by saying “something like that is most likely down the road at some point.”

Gontier said the following about a possible reunion:

“You know what? Yeah. I mean, for sure. We’ve all grown up. It’s been a while. There’s no hard feelings or anything like that. We’re all in touch now and we talk and text and stuff.

We haven’t really talked about doing anything — not yet anyway — but I feel like something like that is most likely down the road at some point.”

After the interviewer mentioned that a reunion would be “big,” the frontman went on to say that “it would be a lot of fun.” He also added:

“[It] probably would be [big]. You never know, man. We haven’t really talked about it. But, yeah, I guess we’ll see.”

Three Days Grace Premiere “Lifetime” Music Video, Announce North American Tour

Three Days Grace have premiered a new video for their new song “Lifetime.” This track is from the band’s new album “Explosions,” which will be released on May 6.

The band commented:

“Lifetime is about loss. It also speaks to the human condition to push forward and put one foot in front of the other even when you wake up and your world is turned upside down. Barry lives 2 hours to the north of Mayfield and when the tornado struck he not only knew people directly affected but days later found photos and debris in his own backyard; hitting, in more ways than one, close to home. The Mayfield community has shown hope and resilience in the face of unimaginable devastation. When we discussed how we wanted to visually portray this song the story of Mayfield immediately came up. We travelled down to Kentucky from Toronto in March. To see it all with our own eyes and to meet some of the families while overwhelming at times it was also a reminder to us and hopefully to all of you that while there is suffering there is also hope, resilience and strength around every corner all over the world.”

Three Days Grace Premiere “So Called Life” Music Video

Three Days Grace have premiered a new video for their new song “So Called Life.” This track is from the band’s new album “Explosions,” which will be released on May 6.

Frontman Matt Walst commented:

“In these crazy and divided times, everyone needs something to take the edge off.”

Director Jon Vulpine added:

“I wanted to make this video really raw and stripped down. Something high energy with extreme angles and fast movements. A bunch of old analog gear in this ’70s apartment that looked like some hoarder died in it 20 years ago and the guys just came in and recorded. I didn’t want to go for a clean and super polished look, so Justin Jones, my DP, suggested these rehoused 1960s Japanese lenses for a grittier more contrasty feel. That, along with different lens distortions and attachments, just added to the diversity of shots.”

Three Days Grace Premiere Video For Cover Of Gotye’s “Somebody That I Used To Know”

Three Days Grace have released a cover of Gotye’s “Somebody That I Used To Know.” You can find an official video for that below. Frontman Matt Walst commented:

“The first time I heard ‘Somebody That I Used to Know’, I got goosebumps. This has only happened to me a few times in my life. I remember listening to it over and over and just being happy. Music releases a mood enhancing chemical in the brain that can set good moods and peak enjoyment. Music is truly the best drug.”
