Skinless’ 2003 album “From Sacrifice To Survival” and their 2002 EP “Miscreant” will be receiving a new vinyl release on May 25. The effort is available on orange (limited to 300) and black (limited to 200) vinyl. Pre-orders can be found at violenceintheveins.bandcamp.com.
Skinless have premiered a new video for their song “Skull Session.” This track is from the band’s new album “Savagery,” which was released today (May 11).
The group said the following:
“Stylistically, our new video is Evil Dead, meets Tales From The Crypt, meets the A-Team! Skinless finds a way to infiltrate the mind of the hippie and torment behind the point of return. If you enjoy this even a fraction as much as the fun we had making it, mission accomplished! This is as homegrown as it gets with most of the budget being spent on beer, booze, and lumber, haaaa!” ENJOY THIS FINAL CUT!!!!!, heeee heeeeee heeee haaa ( Crypt Keeper voice)”
They also added:
“The ‘Skull Session‘ video has a lot of fun little brutal Easter eggs in it, it was a team effort between friends dating over 25 years. Ira, Joe Keyser, and I went to art school together and it’s an honor to be able to bring this to life, or death, rather, with not only a talented team, but great friends. Wayne Ordon, our “best boy” and guillotine designer/constructor has been a major supporter of the band and great friend since the mid 90’s.”

It looks like Skinless will start the recording process for their new album this weekend. The band said the following:
“Tonight and tomorrow night are the last two rehearsals for the new material. On Friday Bob “Big Guns” Beaulac will be setting up his drums in the studio. Saturday we start recording the sixth full-length Skinless album. It’s looking like a spring 2018 release on Relapse Records. We’ll be giving you updates along the way like studio footage, album title, track listing, cover art/artist and all that fun stuff. \m/ \m/”
It looks like Skinless will be releasing a new album next year. The band said the following:
“NEW SKINLESS ALBUM COMING IN 2018 on Relapse Records. We are just finishing up on the songwriting now and we head into the studio in September. The album title and cover art has been chosen. For only the second time we’ll be recording a cover song. It’s all coming together and we’ll be giving more updates along the way.”
Skinless have premiered a new video for their new song “Flamethrower,” via Metal Sucks. This song is from the band’s latest album, Only The Ruthless Remain, which is available now.
Skinless have announced several fall U.S. shows. These will be the band’s only performances for the rest of the year.
