L.S. Dunes (My Chemical Romance, Circa Survive, Etc.) Premiere New Song “2022”

L.S. Dunes, the project featuring Anthony Green (Circa Survive), Frank Iero (My Chemical Romance), Travis Stever (Coheed And Cambria), Tim Payne (Thursday), and Tucker Rule (Thursday), have premiered a new song titled “2022.” This track is from the band’s new album “Past Lives,” which will be released on November 11. Green commented:

“I wrote 2022 when I was struggling to communicate the pain that I was in during the pandemic. I survived an overdose the previous year and was feeling like I would never be free of the obsession to get high, or just get out of my own skin and that I was only going to continue to hurt everyone I loved. It was a cop-out and easier for me to write a song rather than get honest and real with the people in my life – cry for help in a way. If there’s a positive take away, it’s that it’s never a burden to the people you love to share your feelings no matter how dark or painful it might be.”

“After the shock of the pandemic shutdown – None of us lifelong musicians really knew if we’d ever be able to play music for a live audience ever again. ‘Permanent Rebellion‘ is about taking back what is rightfully yours. We wanted to do something where you can hear all our bands in it and yet, not have it sound like any one in particular. Our roots are punk rock and hardcore, and the vibe is hope for all the lost souls.”
