Powerman 5000’s Spider One And Knee High Fox’s Krsy Fox Launch Scripted Horror Anthology Podcast “Bleeders DIEgest”

A new scripted horror anthology podcast, titled “Bleeders DIEgest,” has been launched through the Bloody Disgusting podcast network. The series was created by Powerman 5000’s Spider One, Knee High Fox’s Krsy Fox, and “The Boo Crew” podcast hosts Trevor and Lauren Shand. Each episode includes a new original dark fiction story and immersive audio production. Select stories will also feature special guests including: Bonnie Aarons (“The Nun”), Adam Busch (“Buffy The Vampire Slayer”), Ice Nine Kills’ Spencer Charnas and more. The first two episodes are available now with further episodes set to air every Thursday.

Spider One said the following:

“Ever since I was a little kid, I was transfixed by horror and science fiction. Endless hours of my youth were spent watching ‘Creature Double Feature’ and scouring the aisles of my local video store for the goriest of cover art. It’s a dream come true to be able to now partner with Bloody Disgusting and share my own brand of scary with an audience.”

Krsy Fox also commented:

“We’re so excited to share the darkest parts of our minds with an audience we know will truly appreciate it. Making terrifying original short stories into such a theatrical and interactive show has been a dream come true. The stories of ‘Bleeders DIEgest’ are already giving me nightmares, and I hope it does the same for all of you!”

Lauren Shand continued:

“There is something so magical about crafting characters and their worlds that don’t exist painted with words. Being able to do this in the horror space with Bloody Disgusting is so incredibly cool.”

Trevor Shand went on:

“The ‘theater of the mind’ is something I retreated to so often as a kid with old-school radio dramas and tales of horror that emanated from the small speaker I’d stash under my pillow at night. To be able to play in that world with the support of this small group of friends and our Bloody Disgusting family is a nightmare come true. Our goal is that these stories might live in yours.”

Bloody Disgusting co-founder Tom Owen added:

“We’re so excited to grow the Bloody Disgusting podcast network with the addition of ‘Bleeders DIEgest’. These stories are truly terrifying, and the intimate format of podcasting is the perfect platform to deliver them straight into the listener’s ear. I can’t wait for everyone to hear what Spider, Krsy, Trevor and Lauren have created.”

Knee High Fox Premiere “Witch” Music Video

Knee High Fox have premiered a new video for their song “Witch.” This track is from the band’s latest album “Jawbreaker.”

Krsy Fox told Pure Grain Audio the following:

“‘WITCH’ was one of the last songs we ended up writing for the album and sometimes magic happens in the final hours. The song is so fun with so many references of movies, horror, folklore, and a lot of my own insanity! Playing it live is so intense, it’s already a favorite. It’s a fun ride so we knew the video had to be crazy and weird in its own right. I came up with the concept of getting a hearse and a coffin and riding around Los Angeles on the hood with dancers and the band rockin’ out like some kind of insane parade with crazy makeup.

“Needless to say we had the police chase us down more than once! If you watch closely there’s actually footage of a police officer chasing us on foot in one part of the video. It was also really fun explaining why I was inside of a coffin on the side of a busy street. No one got arrested, we had margaritas and acted and dressed like total weirdos, another fun and successful day for Knee High Fox! I directed this video which I love to do because it feels even closer to my heart. Our good friends and super talented dudes Kevin Garcia and Tyler Connolly shot the footage and lived through this day of craziness with us. We can’t wait for everyone to see this video and what we got away with!”
