Listen To Hideous Divinity’s Death Metal Cover Of Coheed And Cambria’s “Delirium Trigger”

Hideous Divinity have officially released their new “Aliens”-inspired EP “LV-426.“ Among the tracks featured on the effort is a death metal cover of Coheed And Cambria’s “Delirium Trigger,” which you can hear below. Hideous Divinity commented:

“In 2002 Coheed And Cambria wrote a beautiful song… about Aliens. You’ll find our version slightly different. Melodies became dissonances, clean singing became growling and screaming, but somehow everything fits perfectly. Oh, and there’s even a duet with piano and blastbeats courtesy of the maestro Tommy Bonnevialle. The song turned into the coolest experiment ever, therefore we might do it again in the future. Enjoy!”

Hideous Divinity Premiere New Song “Seed Of Future Horror”

Hideous Divinity have premiered a new song titled “Seed Of Future Horror.” This track is from the band’s new album “Simulacrum,” which will be released on November 8. Guitarist Enrico S commented:

“David Lynch taught us that fear of oneself is fear of your seed, of your origins. We carry the horror within ourselves, within the DNA of our music. That’s how this song was born. An ideal bond between the old and new riffing, between steamrolling parts and soaring epic.”

Hideous Divinity Premiere “The Embalmer” Music Video

Hideous Divinity have premiered a new video for their new song “The Embalmer.” That track is from the band’s new album “Simulacrum,” which will be released on November 8. The clip was created by contemporary performance artist Olivier De Sagazan.

Enrico Schettino commented:

“Perhaps more than any other song on ‘Simulacrum,’ ‘The Embalmer’ represents the new path in front of Hideous Divinity. We knew it was time for ‘not just a videoclip’. Something more was needed. When Olivier accepted our proposal and came out with the script, the whole thing hit us like a train wreck. We found the Embalmer. With his art, he created a nightmare and invited us into it: half covered in clay, standing like powerless statues, soon we understood to be in the hands of a maniac. Olivier De Sagazan came and embalmed reality in a distorted image, creating a destabilizing simulacrum. You can see us, blind observers, watching the grotesque repetition as he replaces Stephanie on the surgical field. ‘Rise!’, he cried.”

“Simulacrum” Track Listing:

01. “Deleuzean Centuries”
02. “The Embalmer”
03. “Condense”
04. “Anamorphia Atto III”
05. “The Deaden Room”
06. “Actaeon”
07. “Bent Until Fracture”
08. “Seed Of Future Horror”
09. “Prey To A Vision”
10. “Implemini Exitio”
11. “Blood Of The Zodiac” (Machine Head cover) (bonus track)
12. “Cursed In Eternity” (Mayhem cover) (bonus track)

Hideous Divinity Sign With Century Media

Hideous Divinity have signed a worldwide deal with Century Media Records. With this news, the band have also announced that they will be entering 16th Cellar Studios this summer to work on their new album.

Guitarist Enrico Schettino commented:

“We’re extremely honoured and excited – Century Media has made the history of our genre, and joining forces with them is a dream come true. Time to sharpen our blades: we’ll be heading to ‘our’ 16th Cellar Studios this summer to start crafting our fourth album… another step into obscure and technical death metal insanity. Onto the next chapter of uncompromised violence. The Angel of Revolution flies high.”

Century Media director, Philipp Schulte added:

“We are very happy to welcome Hideous Divinty on Century Media Records! With three album released, each of which was a big step up from its predecessor, hardly any other band from the technical death metal sector managed to impress as much as this Italian 5-piece. Their latest album “Adveniens” serves as a prime example of how to perfectly blend musical complexity, high musicianship and crushing heaviness into dark, demanding and twisted death metal off the beaten path. With the will to differ and conquer new shores Hideous Divinity stand out from mainstream mediocrity. We are looking forward working together with them on album #4 which will be released in autumn 2019.”
