Exmortus Premiere “Feast Of Flesh” Music Video

Exmortus have premiered a new video for their new song “Feast Of Flesh,” via LA Weekly. This track is from the band’s new album “The Sound Of Steel,“ which will be released on June 8.

Jadren “Conan” Gonzalez commented:

“As some may have noticed on my personal page, I don’t just post guitar or band stuff, but a lot of food pictures and I’m no vegan. ‘Feast Of Flesh‘ is a celebration of our carnal needs and desires. I’m not trying to make any political/environmental statements but I feel this song expresses the ugly and brutal nature of humans and other animals.

It ain’t pretty so we thought it would be fun to shoot the band chowing down on actual raw flesh fresh from the meat market. My girlfriend was willing to play the hapless victim of the carnage, which made the whole experience quite fun and yet funny since we were all trying to act and not laugh at the whole idea. The song itself is more of a caveman stompy headbanger so the music works beautifully with the lyrics and visuals in bloody harmony. So, sit back and enjoy the Feast of Flesh! Cheers!”

Exmortus Premiere New Song “Make Haste”

Exmortus have premiered a new song titled “Make Haste,” via MetalSucks. This track is from the band’s new album “The Sound Of Steel,“ which will be released on June 8. Jadren “Conan” Gonzalez commented:

“Inspired by the constant pressure of making deadlines and getting shit done, this song was the first one written for the record and will set the mood and attitude just right as the opening track. Rise to the occasion and strike while the iron’s hot! Make Haste!”

Exmortus To Release New Album “The Sound Of Steel” In June

Exmortus have announced that their new album “The Sound Of Steel” will be released on June 8. Vocalist/guitarist Jadren “Conan” Gonzalez commented:

“This new record takes the best from both Slave… and Ride… albums and adds a killer twist especially accentuated by Chase Becker and Carlos Cruz of Warbringer. While still paying homage to our classic favorites like Priest, Yngwie, Slayer, etc. We also deliver tastefully the extremities of black/death metal and of course the neo-classical structure/harmony that we are known for. This is what we believe to be The Sound Of Steel!”

“The Sound Of Steel” Track Listing:

01. “Make Haste”
02. “Feast Of Flesh”
03. “Into The Maw Of Hell”
04. “To The Ends Of The Earth”
05. “A Minor Instrumental”
06. “Strength And Honor”
07. “Turn The Tide”
08. “Tempest”
09. “Riders Of Doom”
10. “Victory Or Death!”

Exmortus Recruit Warbringer Members For New Album

Exmortus are currently recording their new album at Sharkbite Studios in Oakland, CA with producer Zack Ohren, and it has been revealed that the band have recruited Warbringer drummer Carlos Cruz and guitarist Chase Becker for the sessions. Prosthetic made the below Instagram post regarding that:

@exmortus_official entered Sharkbite Studios today in Oakland, CA to begin recording their new album. Recording again with producer Zack Ohren (Immolation, Fallujah), the group brings a new dynamic this time as Warbringer’s drummer Carlos Cruz and guitarist Chase Becker will be joining vocalist/guitarist Jadran “Conan” Gonzalez and bassist Cody Nunez in the studio. Fans following the band will notice that this is the same line-up that performed on Exmortus’ latest west coast run when they opened for Darkest Hour. Exmortus and Warbringer have a long and mutually respectful history together coming from the same local area scene and touring together a few times in the US and Europe, with Conan even playing guitar for them on one run. . . "We're all stoked to record the new album with Zack, it’s the third time we’ve worked together and we feel very comfortable with him,” states Conan. “He is a great engineer and always gets the best performances from the band. It's unfortunate that [drummer] Mario Moreno and [guitarist] David Rivera will be stepping out for this session, but nonetheless we're very excited to record with good friends and awesome. Can't wait to release these heavy tunes." . . Watch for further updates from the studio as Exmortus continue to track and mix their next opus. . . . #sharkbitestudio #zackohren #exmortus #thrashmetal
