Dance Gavin Dance Postpone European/UK Tour And Cancel Louder Than Life Set

Dance Gavin Dance have postponed their European/UK tour, while also canceling their appearance at the Louder Than Life festival in Louisville, KY. The dates were scrapped due to Jon Mess requiring vocal rest.

The band issued the following statement:

“We will be rescheduling our 2022 UK/European tour, and cancelling our appearance at the upcoming ‘Louder Than Life Festival‘ in KY.

All previously purchased tickets for EU/UK will be valid for those rescheduled dates.

Per doctor’s orders, Jon Mess needs to take the next month off from performing to properly rest his vocals. We are taking their advice and ensuring he is in the best care.

We will announce the newly rescheduled UK & European dates shortly and look forward to seeing you all.

We also look forward to future DWP festivals and appreciate everyone’s understanding with this situation.

Dance Gavin Dance have been dropped from their upcoming tour with Coheed And Cambria and Mothica. This news comes after singer Tilian Pearson stepped away from the band following sexual assault allegations.

Coheed And Cambria commented:

“After much internal conversation, we have decided to replace Dance Gavin Dance on the ‘A Window Of The Waking Mind Tour‘.

We wish them healing and strength.

We will be announcing a replacement in the coming days as we prepare for the release of ‘Vaxis II’ and subsequent summer tour.”

Dance Gavin Dance also issued a statement:

“We worked very hard on this album [‘Jackpot Juicer’] and are incredibly proud of it. We will start promoting its release again this week. There will be videos, promo photos, and upcoming magazine features with both Tim and Tilian. You have a choice in what you support, purchase and listen to. We hope that you still choose to support us.

Dance Gavin Dance is a strong, resilient group—and though these past few months have broken our hearts and frustrated us to no end, we will continue with the album release, with the touring, and then after that, go work on the next one.
