Classless Act Pay Tribute To David Bowie With Double A-Side Single “All The Young Dudes” / “Starman”

Classless Act have paid tribute to the late great David Bowie with a new double a-side single. The effort features covers of “All The Young Dudes” and “Starman” and it can be streamed below. Vocalist Derek Day commented:

“When we learned there was a documentary about the creative, spiritual and musical journey of the great David Bowie, we wanted to pay our tribute, acknowledge his genius, his artistry, his influence and our gratitude to him. We’ve always had a few cover songs in our set; in the beginning, it was out of necessity as we didn’t have enough of our own songs. Now it’s our choice. Whether it was Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, Guns N’ Roses, Queen, or many others, they represent a road map of our influences, our roots…and how we’ve gotten ‘here’ musically. David Bowie played a major role.”

Classless Act Share Music Video For “Classless Act” Featuring Mötley Crüe’s Vince Neil

Classless Act have premiered a new video for their new song “Classless Act.” This track features Mötley Crüe frontman Vince Neil and it will appear on the band’s new album “Welcome To The Show,” which is set to be released on June 24.

Classless Act singer Derek Day commented:

“This song really is a musical expression of who we are. It’s a little dirty, maybe kinda sloppy and probably needs a good night’s sleep and a shower, and it absolutely kicks ass. Every night. Just like us.”

Neil added:

“What drew me is that these are young guys playing real rock ‘n’ roll, playing their own instruments, all that good stuff that you miss from the last 20+ years. These guys remind me of Mötley Crüe growing up, and they definitely rock. Can’t wait to see what happens in the future.”

This news comes as Classless Act are preparing to open for Mötley Crüe, Def Leppard, Poison, and Joan Jett on their upcoming stadium tour.

Classless Act Share Music Video For New Song “This Is For You” Featuring Justin Hawkins (The Darkness)

Classless Act have joined forces with Justin Hawkins (The Darkness) for a new song titled “This Is For You.” You can find an official video for that track below:

Classless Act’s Derek Day commented:

“It’s a dream come true for Classless Act to be a part of the Better Noise family. And the boys and I have been working really hard to give you something to shake your ass to. Now, summer’s here and the time is right for a couple of guitars, some bass and drums and a whole buncha me. Let’s get to it!!”

Hawkins added:

“One Tuesday night in February I gazed up onto the Swiss night sky. There, to my surprise I witnessed the beaming of The Hawk signal onto a passing cloud. After months of inactivity, I was called into action. My mission? To provide a face melting guitar solo to Classless Act’s ‘This is For You.’ I grasped my Gibson 335, headed into the hawk cave and within 24 hours the solo was born.”
