Joe Lynn Turner Cancels Tour Dates Following Apparent Heart Attack, Turner’s Sunstorm Project Premiere New Song “Only The Good Will Survive”

Former Rainbow and Deep Purple singer Joe Lynn Turner has cancelled his upcoming tour dates for the next few months following an apparent heart attack. Finnish booking agent, Thomas Ståhl (Stahl Entertainment) said the following:

“Due to an unplanned medical procedure, Joe Lynn Turner is postponing all activities for the next few months as he is not allowed to travel or fly right now. We are working on rescheduling all club shows and will announce new dates as soon as possible, bought tickets is valid. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. No fear, only love and positive thoughts!”

In other news, Turner’s Sunstorm project have premiered a new song titled “Only The Good Will Survive.” This track is from the band’s new album “The Road To Hell,” which will be released on June 8 via Frontiers Music Srl.

Joe Lynn Turner Hospitalized In Belarus Due To A “Heart Issue”

While in Belarus, former Deep Purple and Rainbow singer Joe Lynn Turner was hospitalized due to a “heart issue.” The news was originally reported by the Russian state news agency RIA Novosti, who said the vocalist was “stable” after being treated at a Minsk facility for a “myocardial infarction” (also known as a heart attack). A spokeswoman for the Ministry of Health said he was transported by ambulance to the hospital and that he will continue to receive treatment.

Bill Ward (ex-Black Sabbath) has revealed that he has ended up in the hospital due to heart problems. As a result, the upcoming Day Of Errors shows have been cancelled.

Ward said the following:

It’s with great, great sadness that I must tell you I have to cancel the Day Of Errors tour dates scheduled in December. I wound up in hospital this past weekend with heart problems. I am OK and in good recovery at this time. However, I’ve never experienced this particular type of heart problem before, and due to its nature, I had to make the decision to cancel the dates.

I want to send my sincere apologies to everyone who was planning to come out to the shows. I’m so sorry we won’t be making it – I was looking forward to seeing you all and sharing this music with you. I’ll be in touch soon.
