  • Rotten Sound Premiere “Brave New World” Video

    Rotten Sound have premiered a new video for their new song “Brave New World.” This track is from the band’s new EP, “Mass Extinction,” which will be released on December 12.

    The band commented on the single:

    “This is one of the most aggressive songs on our new EP. ‘Brave New World‘ is about how misinformation, polarization, conspiracy theories and censorship has lead people into a state of distrust. Our strong sense of community has been replaced by skepticism and fear. The fight for coherent and reliable information is now a constant struggle.”

    Vocalist Keijo Niinimaa added the following about the EP:

    “We like to make concise statements. Bringing about real meaningful change seems to take forever. Misinformation, polarization, conspiracy theories and censorship have made everyone more distrustful.”

  • The Devil Wears Prada Guitarist Kyle Sipress Says He Wasn’t Involved In The Sessions For “Flowers”

    The Devil Wears Prada guitarist/vocalist Kyle Sipress has revealed that he wasn’t involved in the sessions for the band’s new album “Flowers” (out November 14). According to him, keyboardist Jonathan Gering, vocalist/guitarist Mike Hranica, and guitarist/vocalist Jeremy DePoyster were the main driving forces behind the record.

    Sipress initially said the following via Instagram:

    “Spent a few days learning some of the new songs from the new Prada record. This one’s called ‘Everybody Knows.’”

    This led fans to question why he didn’t know the songs. Upon revealing his lack of involvement, they also lamented his exclusion. Sipress continued:

    “I really appreciate that but it just is what it is. While it does make me sad and I wish I was a part of the creative side like I used to be, I do get to play guitar on stage for a living. Hopefully my ability to play live does the job this record calls for.”

    He also added:

    “It’s pretty complicated but I think at the end of the day they had a vision and direction that was just easier and more conductive with me not being involved. Trying new things out and having less/different cooks in the kitchen.”

    He also further discussed the album’s origins:

    “‘Flowers‘ was written and recorded by Jon, Jeremy, Mike and some songwriters from LA I believe.”

  • Sun Dont Shine Premiere “In The End” Music Video

    Sun Dont Shine, the project featuring Kenny Hickey (Type O Negative), Johnny Kelly (Type O Negative), Kirk Windstein (Crowbar), and Todd Strange (ex-Crowbar), have premiered a new video for their new song “In The End.” This track will appear on the band’s new album, “Birth To Death,” which will be released early next year via Corpse Paint Records.

    Corpse Paint Records’ Andrew Spaulding commented:

    “‘In the End’ was one of those melodies that stayed with me from the moment it was written. I found myself humming it constantly. It carried a different weight—slower, more reflective—but the lyrics cut deep in a way that immediately made me think about the people we’ve lost along the way. For us, that includes giants who shaped this band’s very DNA: Peter Steele, Dimebag Darrell, and most recently, Ace Frehley.”

    A press release continued:

    “The single serves as both a tribute and a meditation on mortality, exploring themes that resonate far beyond the metal community. The song reminds us that none of us escape that final chapter, but we’re given these days in between to make our story matter. This philosophy is reflected not only in the track’s introspective lyrics but in its accompanying video concept—not a literal ‘Groundhog Day,’ but the idea that each new day is a gift to rewrite, to realign, to live with intention.”

    Windstein added:

    “’In The End’ is a great example of what we want Sun Dont Shine to sound like. It’s got dynamics, melody and a bit of heaviness to it.”

    The band concluded:

    “‘In The End’ is the journey we’re all on… and the one we all must eventually take.”

  • Femme Fatale Premiere “Bad Love” Music Video

    Femme Fatale have released a new song titled “Bad Love.” That track features Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal (ex-Guns N’ Roses) and a video for it can be found below:

    Singer Lorraine Lewis said the following about the single:

    “[It’s] about that magnetic kind of connection you know isn’t good for you, but you keep going back anyway. It’s messy, it’s addictive and it’s real. I wanted to capture that push-and-pull between desire and self-preservation. We’ve all been there. We see the red flag and still jump in headfirst… but if that red flag’s on fire? Baby, that’s your cue to run.

    I’m lucky to work with Steve [Brown]. He is always magic. Steve and David [Julian] really helped bring ‘Bad Love’ to life sonically.”

    She also added the following about the video:

    “And yes, that’s real fire. We also brought in some incredible fire performers and even a real firefighter from the adult industry named Eva Angelina. Without giving too much away, let’s just say the video is HOTTT!”

  • Roddy Bottum On The Possibility Of A Faith No More Reunion: “I Just Don’t See It Happening Again”

    During an interview with Alternative Nation, Roddy Bottum was asked about the possibility of a Faith No More reunion. Unfortunately, he doesn’t “see it happening again.”

    Bottum said the following:

    “I don’t think so. No. It’s not just me. I don’t think anyone’s sort of up for it at this point. We had a bunch of shows that we were gonna play, and they got canceled, just for various reasons. But I don’t think the course that we were on has fixed itself. I just don’t see it happening again, honestly. I think we did a really good job. We played a bunch of reunion tours, and I think we did what we kind of set out to do. So I don’t think anyone’s upset about it or anything. But I mean, for sure, getting back together would mean a big paycheck, but I think all of us are pretty good with what we did, sort of just, like, artistically with the band and committing to ourselves and playing with each other. I think we’re all pretty good with the decisions that we’ve made up to now, and I don’t see what could really happen more getting back together and doing more shows.”

    He also reflected on the band’s 2009 reunion:

    “When we did the first reunion tour, we had broken up for like… almost 15 years. And it was kind of, like, I used to have dreams when I was younger — I get to school and, ‘Oh my God, I forgot to study for the test.’ And then the test is right then, and I’m, like, ‘Oh my God, I’m gonna fail.’ At some point after Faith No More broke up, I kept having these dreams that I would show up, ‘Oh my God. Faith No More was doing a reunion tour, and I forgot to learn the songs.’ It became this thing that sort of replaced that dream scenario for me. So, I kept having these dreams. That was a nightmare I kept having. And then we structured a whole tour and learned the songs and played the songs and did the tour, and it’s, like, I was able to address that nightmare in a real, actual physical sense. And I think it was key in moving forward in my life in some weird way. Plus, it was just really fun. Billy [Gould] and I have been friends since we were, like — I don’t know — nine or 10 years old. So, it was fun to sort of tap back into that friendship and just hang out.”
