  • New Found Glory To Release New Album “Listen Up!” In February, Premiere “Laugh It Off” Video

New Found Glory have revealed the details for their new album “Listen Up!.” The effort will be released on February 20 and it can be pre-ordered HERE.

    “Listen Up!” Track Listing:

    01. “Boom Roasted”
    02. “100%”
    03. “Laugh It Off”
    04. “A Love Song”
    05. “Beer and Blood Stains”
    06. “Medicine”
    07. “Treat Yourself”
    08. “Dream Born Again”
    09. “You Got This”
    10. “Frankenstein’s Monster”

    The group commented:

“The overall message/theme of this album is to encourage hope through hard times, while also looking at the world as somewhat of a fly on a wall: seeing people’s fear, negativity, and stress about small things that only scratch the surface of what life will eventually – but bring in a hopeful way. We want to encourage hope that the hard times will bring growth and strength. So the music is super fun and anthemic and loose feeling. We’re singing loud and proud about the scars and not in a pity party sort of way.

There’s also a lot of reflection. We’re looking back at the good ol’ days as reminders of all we’ve been through in life that led us to the people we are today. Sonically the album has that juxtaposition too. It’s fun pop melodies mixed with the heavier, riffed songs.”

A video for the effort’s latest single, “Laugh It Off,” can be found below. The band added the following about that:

“This is an upbeat song based around this lead riff that recurs throughout, while the lyrics are about being on each other’s case in a relationship at times. But you get so lost in the debate that you have to stop and laugh. The connection is so deep that you always end up acknowledging that it was a silly argument. And you always end up laughing, especially in the middle of the argument when someone pronounces something wrong or says something backwards. Life’s too short to get hung up on the little passing things.”

  • Sick Of It All’s Lou Koller Says His Cancer Has Returned

Sick Of It All frontman Lou Koller has revealed that his cancer has returned. The sad news comes after he was previously declared cancer-free in May.

    Koller said the following:

“Hey, everybody. What’s up? It’s Lou here. I don’t know if you could tell it’s me, with my new skeletal look that I have going on.

Here’s an update for you. It’s not what I wanna make, but, unfortunately, the cancer’s come back and he brought some friends with him.

I was having a really hard time with my recovery. I was having a tough time gaining weight and keeping food down. So I had some scans done, and sure enough, he is back. But we’re gonna take it day by day and see what happens.

I wanna thank you all again for your moral support. The way you all reach out to me still is very — thank you very much. But I’ll keep you updated and let you know how it goes. All right? We’ll see you soon.”

  • Watch New Trailer For “Sharon & Ozzy Osbourne: Coming Home” Documentary

A new trailer has been shared for the upcoming Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne documentary, “Sharon & Ozzy Osbourne: Coming Home.” You can watch that preview below. The film, which is set to air on October 2 via BBC One and iPlayer, will focus on the Osbournes move back to the UK.

    Here’s a synopsis:

“This intimate film, shot over three years with Ozzy Osbourne, his wife Sharon and their children Kelly and Jack, as well as their close friends, follows the final chapter of Ozzy’s life. After 25 years living in LA, he and Sharon decide the time has come to return home to the English country house in Buckinghamshire, where they once brought up their family. But before he retires completely, he’s also determined to perform one last time for his army of fans.

Ozzy and Sharon face a monumental battle. As well as a diagnosis of Parkinson’s, Ozzy has had a succession of back surgeries following a fall, which have left him in extreme pain, frequently struggling to walk. So, that means lots more time spent at home surrounded by a growing army of grandchildren, as well as his pack of dogs, all 11 of whom get to share Sharon and Ozzy’s bed. For a man who has always questioned why go out at all when you have a house, this isn’t all bad.

The resulting film is a moving portrait of one of the world’s most entertaining families at a pivotal moment in their history. The strength of Ozzy and Sharon’s love for one another and their kids’ devotion to them is palpable. So too is the family’s acceptance of Ozzy becoming increasingly unwell. As Kelly poignantly puts it, the iron man isn’t made of iron.

But for all that, rock’s great survivor isn’t quite done yet. Ahead of retirement, Ozzy is determined to perform one last time, for himself and for his fans. Whatever it takes.

Pulling off both the move and the gig will be a phenomenal achievement, and son Jack is worried about the toll of relocating to a country that his parents have barely spent time in over the last two decades, as well as the impact on their close-knit family dynamics. But Ozzy has never been a man to take no for an answer, and he sets about achieving his goals with the determination, blistering honesty and razor-sharp sense of humour that have endeared him to millions for over 50 years. He stops at nothing to make his body work as well as it used to, with the film capturing remarkable levels of resolve.

Ozzy’s death, just two weeks after a final, triumphant, homecoming gig, is met with shock and grief around the world. Thousands of fans gather to watch his funeral cortege in his home town of Birmingham as it is live-streamed to viewers across the globe. The extraordinary impact of this working-class hero cannot be more apparent.

The film is a candid and moving portrait of Birmingham’s favourite son, and of the family that adore and support him through his last performance and the final chapter of his life.”

  • Pupil Slicer Premiere “Nomad” Video

Pupil Slicer have premiered a new video for their new song “Nomad.” This track is from their new album, “Fleshwork,” which will be released on November 7. Vocalist/guitarist Kate Davies said the following about the single:

“‘Nomad’ is about living in a post truth society where people are living in entire echo chambers that allow them to get caught up in massive conspiracies and how much you can dehumanize other people. It’s about naivety of masses to how malevolent and self-interested those in charge are and how to survive in this world that can just lie to justify actions that lead to the deaths of so many people; the idea of no one being safe besides those that make the rules in our society and that the internet is a wasteland of primarily disinformation and bad faith interactions.”
