  • Winds Of Plague Frontman Johnny Plague: “We’re Definitely Leaning Towards Making New Music”

During an interview with Sultans Of Slack, Winds Of Plague frontman Johnny Plague opened up about the band’s recent reunion shows. Notably, he also revealed that the group are “leaning towards making new music.”

    Plague said the following:

“Really, we got asked to do these two shows, which kind of blew our minds. Like, well, we can’t not do it, right?! So I reached out to all the original guys. We all grew up, going to high school together and we started the band there, and I was, like, ‘Hey, it’d be really cool to do this’ as it’s the actual 20 years since we started WINDS OF PLAGUE; that’s when we got the name and all that. So, everybody wanted to do it. We were, like, ‘Let’s see how these two shows go.’ And it was a lot of fun. I think that the general consensus is, yes, we wanna keep doing more. But as of now, this is all we have planned. Today was the end of it. So I guess we’ll see what’s next, but I think there’s definitely more to come.”

He also added the following when asked about new music:

“We have [talked about it]. And we actually have a couple songs that we never recorded, from a couple years ago. So we started kind of revisiting those, punching those up a little bit. So there’s nothing set in stone right now, but we’re definitely leaning towards making new music, playing a couple of more shows, trying to do a couple a year. And it’s fun. It’s really awesome.

We’ve all kind of moved on from the band stuff in our personal lives. And it’s fun to take a step back into it. It feels like a former life, and we’re all just here just for the love of it at this point. It has nothing to do with paying the bills or being the biggest band or anything like that. It’s just for the love of it. It’s awesome.”

  • ten56. Premiere “IO” Music Video

ten56. have shared an official video for the title track of their latest album “IO.” You can check that out below:

    Vocalist Aaron Matts commented:

“This track came at a pivotal time in my life, both literally and figuratively. Looking back at the lyrical content that I’ve put out, I felt that I needed to directly address the why’s and how’s as to why I tend to fall into the same lyrical stupor from track to track. At least that’s how I felt about it.

This song and its music video also came at a turning point in my life. Between two tours I was admitted to an addiction treatment centre in order to get over a long standing opioid and Benzodiazepine addiction. We were able to film the images during my stay at the rehabilitation clinic, and while on paper this sounds cool; it was a very vulnerable and uncomfortable period for me.

I hope this track and it’s music video can eventually help anyone else experiencing something similar in their lives. I’m not perfect, but I’m doing my best and I have my boys by my side. Love yourselves.”

  • Gideon Premiere “Wrong One” Video

  • Dream Theater No Longer Plan To Tour Europe In 2026

Dream Theater are no longer planning to tour Europe in 2026. The band will return to the territory in 2027 or 2028.

    The group commented:

    “⚠️ ATTENTION all EU/UK DT fans ⚠️

We know we promised we’d be back in 2026 with our full Parasomnia show, but sadly sometimes plans change… after much discussion, after 2 European legs on our 40th Anniversary Tour in 2024 and 2025 (as well as EU tours the previous two years in 2022 & 2023 as well), we’ve made the hard decision to skip a return to EU/UK in 2026.

We are currently on the final 3 weeks of our US Parasomnia/ACOS Tour, so there’s still time to come on over to the States to catch this show if you are so inclined… it really is an amazing show! And if we can’t bring it over to you, we at least wanted to give the heads up so you’d have the option of coming to us to catch it.

We look forward to returning to EU/UK when we begin our next tour cycle in either 2027 or 2028!”

  • The Tony Danza Tapdance Extravaganza Working On New Album

It looks like The Tony Danza Tapdance Extravaganza are working on a new album. The band recently confirmed the news while reflecting on their set at this year’s Furnace Fest.

    The group said the following:

“Danza has played many shows in the past, but we are going to have to get a little extra about this one. Furnace Fest 2025 might just be the sickest show we’ve ever played. We can’t go into words how special it was for us.

We want to give a massive thanks to Allena and all the Furnace Fest crew for being so cool and welcoming to us.

We also want to give special thanks to Michael, Mike and Guardian Security for keeping us and everyone safe so we could all have fun. We’re so sorry one of your team members got hurt during our set. We have reached out personally to check on him, but if anyone hears of him needing anything please let us know.

Thank you to our families for making the trip and all of your support. We couldn’t do this without you!

More than anything though – we want to thank all of you who came out and shared the moment with us! We cannot thank you all enough. You made this experience unforgettable!

Oh and by the way, if you were at FF, then you heard it first…

Danza 5 is on its way.”

  • Slash On Upcoming Guns N’ Roses Album: “It’s Coming”

During a recent interview for a new issue of Guitar World, Slash offered an update on Guns N’ Roses’ upcoming album. According to him, the effort is still “coming.”

    Slash said the following:

“There’s so much material at this point — it’s a matter of having the discipline to sit down and fucking get into it. But the thing with Guns is, in my experience, you can never plan ahead. You can never sit down and go, ‘We’re going to take this time , and we’re going to do this.’

Every time we’ve done that, it falls apart. It just spontaneously happens through some sort of inspiration that triggers it. And the next thing you know, It’s off and running. So it’s coming. I know it’s coming because everybody is thinking about it. It’ll just happen when it happens.”

  • Black Label Society Premiere “Broken And Blind” Music Video

Black Label Society have premiered a new video for their new song “Broken And Blind.” You can check that out below. Zakk Wylde said the following about the single:

“What’s going on gang? This is Zakk Wylde of Black Label Society. This is a new song called ‘Broken And Blind’. The song is about peanut butter and chocolate and what happens when you don’t have any of it. My soul is broken and I’m blind with rage if I don’t have any peanut butter and chocolate, so there you go, it’s a new song called ‘Broken And Blind’. Thank you, have a great day.”
