The Veer Union Premiere “Slaves To The System” Video

The Veer Union have premiered a new video for their new song “Slaves To The System.” This track features Defending Cain and it will appear on the band’s upcoming quarantine inspired EP. The Veer Union commented:

“Our new video depicts the struggles we are all experiencing as human beings in 2020. We need to come together as ONE people regardless of race, sex, colour or creed and rise above it all. Information is power and we need to be more informed so that society can be unified, if we don’t do this, we will all be ‘SLAVES TO THE SYSTEM.'”

The Veer Union Share Cover Of Halsey’s “Nightmare”

The Veer Union have shared their cover of Halsey’s “Nightmare” via Loudwire. You can find a video for that below. The track will appear on the band’s new covers album, “Covers Collection, Vol. 1,” which will be released on December 20.

Crispin Earl commented:

“I have been a musician in the ‘Hard Rock/Metal’ scene for many years now, but I have always loved several different genres of music. I believe a great song is a great song and can be reproduced in several different ways and still be killer.

We chose to do Halsey’s song ‘Nightmare’ for a few reasons: 1. We love Halsey, not only because she is extremely attractive, but because she is a bad-ass artist! 2. The first time we heard that song, we thought immediately that would be an amazing song to cover, which actually spawned the idea of expanding on that and doing an entire album of cover songs. And 3. There is no question that the lyrics resonate with a wide audience because they sure did with me!

We shot this video at the Armoury Studios, which is one of the most prestigious studios in Vancouver. Bon Jovi, AC/DC, Van Halen, Aerosmith and so many more have recorded there, so it was very cool for us to record and shoot the final song recorded for our Covers Collection, Vol. 1 album in such an iconic space.”

The Veer Union Share New Video For Acoustic Cover Of Linkin Park’s “Numb”

As we approach the one year anniversary of Chester Bennington’s tragic death (July 20), The Veer Union have decided to pay tribute to the late singer with a new video for their acoustic cover of Linkin Park’s “Numb.” The track will appear on the group’s “Decade 2: Rock And Acoustic” release, which will be available on August 31. Vocalist Crispin Earl told Loudwire the following:

“I decided to do this cover not only because everyone in The Veer Union are huge fans of Linkin Park and wanted to honor Chester Bennington and his immense contribution to the world with his voice and music, but on a personal level I have also struggled with depression which I have written about and spoken openly about for years. The song ‘Numb’ has always spoken to me on very personal level and all I can hope is that we did some justice to it to pay homage to Chester Bennington. It was a tremendous loss, and he will live in our hearts and souls forever.”

The Veer Union Premiere Lyric Video For “Last Regret” Off Upcoming “Decade: History of Our Evolution” Box Set

The Veer Union have premiered a new lyric video for “Last Regret.” The track will come with the band’s upcoming six album box set “Decade: History Of Our Evolution.“

Crispin Earl commented:

“I think we can all relate to at least one time in our lives where we wish we could have just made a better decision than the one we made in the past; in retrospect, as an artist, those mistakes that we make are also the same things that inspire us to make music from the depths of our hearts”

The Veer Union Cover Faith No More’s “Epic”

The Veer Union have released a cover of Faith No More’s “Epic” feat. Amalien. The track will come with The Veer Union‘s new six album box set “Decade: History Of Our Evolution.“ Crispin Earl told Loudwire the following:

“Growing up Faith No More was one of our favorite bands,” says Earl. “Not only did they have great songs, but they had an uncompromising passion for what they did musically. We wanted to harness some of that inspiration with this cover and hopefully do some justice to one of the most underrated and influential bands of our time.”
