Repentance Premiere “Down In The Water” Music Video

Repentance have premiered a new video for their song “Down In The Water.“ This track is from the band’s latest EP “Volume I – Reborn.“

Vocalist Adam Gilley commented:

“The song is about trying to overcome the struggles from within and ultimately succumbing to the demons of disease in the end.”

Guitarist Shaun Glass added:

“When writing the new material I really wanted to make sure each song had their own identity yet fit into the sound of the band. With this track the main verse riff set the pace for a dark heavy groove that doesn’t let up and brings the listener in a twisted journey… Adam‘s King-Kong-sized vocals put the stamp on this song and also this is my first song that I actually also handled the guitar solo which is a nice tribute to Dimebag Darrell (Pantera) & Jeff Hanneman (Slayer) – RIP.”

Repentance To Release New EP “Volume I – Reborn” This Month, Premiere New Song “No Innocence”

Repentance will be releasing a new EP titled “Volume I – Reborn” on November 26. The effort will feature five songs including: “All The Misery,” “Reborn” (feat. Trivium’s Corey Beaulieu), “Down In The Water,” “No Innocence,” and “This Is Hell.” You can stream “No Innocence” below. Vocalist Adam Gilley said the following about that track:

“‘No Innocence‘ is about being betrayed by someone you thought you can trust. When enough is enough and you just can’t hold back anymore.”

Repentance Premiere New Song “Reborn” Featuring Trivium’s Corey Beaulieu

Repentance have signed a new worldwide deal with Noble Demon Records. With this news, the band have also premiered a lyric video for their new song “Reborn,” which features Trivium guitarist Corey Beaulieu.

Guitarist Shaun Glass said the following about signing with Noble Demon:

“Repentance is thrilled to be with the mighty Noble Demon Records for our new releases! I was so impressed with how such a newer label was making waves, and with such a diverse roster of metal/rock, it was the obvious place for this to be our new home. With a professional staff and Patrick [Walch]’s amazing history in the metal industry, it’s a breath of fresh air.”

Walch continued:

“When I discovered Repentance last year listening to their first single and then the full-length album ‘God for A Day’, I instantly knew I was on to something there. After having spoken with Shaun Glass for a while, we knew that the vibe was more than right between us, so it didn’t need much negotation in order to work together on their next songs. I’m proud to welcome another member to the Noble Demon family, this time with a pure U.S. metal sound which I’ve always been appreciating by bands like Trivium, Lamb Of God, DevilDriver etc., all bands I grew up with as well. And having Corey of Trivium play the solo on this new single is a huge honor for all of us. Check out Repentance, you won’t be disappointed!”

Vocalist Adam Gilley also added the following about the new song:

“When I first heard the track for ‘Reborn’, I knew I wanted to be a part of Repentance. This song is a straight punch to your face. I love the intensity of this song and Corey absolutely shreds on the guest solo…So whether you’re at home, work, the gym or wherever you are. CRANK this!!!”
