Legend Of The Seagullmen, the band featuring Brent Hinds (Mastodon), Danny Carey (Tool), etc., have premiered a new song titled “Legend Of The Seagullmen,” via Metal Hammer’s Facebook. This track is from the group’s debut album, which will be released on February 9.

David “The Doctor” Dreyer commented:

“‘Legend Of The Seagullmen‘” is the song of an ancient power: a time of the Seagullgod King. His legend has been transmitted over generations spanning 400 thousand years, resulting in this furious ripping anthem. It takes at least four guitar players and an army of musicians to unlock the glory and when the blistering progressions find the pounding beat, you’ll be immersed in the scriptures of a battle torn land.”

Vinyl Version Of Legend Of The Seagullmen’s Debut Album Delayed Until March

“Hey everyone who pre-ordered our debut on vinyl: got news that due to manufacturing delays, the vinyl street date on both the black and the blue special edition is changing to March 2 (rather than February 9, which is the street date for CDs and digital editions, those orders will not be impacted). The label will be sending out e-mails to everyone affected. Thanks for your understanding and sorry about that!”

Legend Of The Seagullmen (Mastodon, Tool, Etc.) Stream New Song “The Fogger”

Legend Of The Seagullmen, the band featuring Brent Hinds (Mastodon), Danny Carey (Tool), Jimmy Hayward (musician/director), Pete Griffin (Giraffe Tongue Orchestra, etc.), David “Dr Dreyer” Dreyer, and Chris Digiovanni, have premiered a new song titled “The Fogger,” via Revolver. This track is from their debut self-titled album, which will be released on February 9.

Hayward commented:

“‘The Fogger‘ is a mystical aquatic tale about The Seagullmen‘s very own drummer, Danny Carey. He stalks the ocean in search of users, abusers and polluters and deals lethal justice with his third eye while ripping the faces from skulls, just like he does during the punishing and beautifully complex drum solo in the middle of the song. The solo explodes into a furious conclusion, leaving no doubt about the karmic justice and pure ferocious power of ‘The Fogger’!”
