(hed)p.e. Delay New Album “Califas Worldwide“ To February, Premiere “Death Trip” Video

(hed)p.e. have delayed the release of their new album “Califas Worldwide.“ The effort will now be released on February 4. As consolation, the band have shared a new video for “Death Trip” off their “Sandmine” EP. Jared Gomes said the following about that:

“We met Josh [Petrino] on tour as a fan of the band, and he showed us some of his incredible work as a director. When he offered to direct a video for ‘Death Trip‘ with us in New Jersey it was no brainer. Josh and his team perfectly captured the look and feel of a classic slasher movie and I think it turned out amazing. This is definitely a fun video to create and turned out to be one of the best looking music videos (Hed) P.E has ever done as well.”

Frontman Jared Gomes commented:

“When the first phase of the pandemic hit, all of our tours were canceled and we had just released ‘Class of 2020‘. Rather than sit around waiting for this thing to end, I decided to channel all my energy into creating music and to work with new artists from a variety of styles. We had people from all over the world from places like Belarus, Russia, England, France, Argentina, Italy, and Germany send in tracks.

When I finished I realized there were some really cool vibes here; so I sent a selection to the record label and they agreed. They offered to release a record with all these different artists. The word Califas is Spanish slang for California. I feel like my vocals have a SoCal vibe to them, so the title was a cool way of tying together all the tracks from all over the world with my Cali vibes.”

Drowning Pool, Ill Niño, (hed)p.e., And Evolution Empire Postpone Fall U.S. Tour

Drowning Pool, Ill Niño, (hed)p.e. and Evolution Empire have postponed their fall U.S. tour. The trek is currently being rescheduled for 2022.

The following statement was issued:

“We regret to announce that the Brothers In Arms Tour is being postponed.

The escalating costs, logistics and risk of moving a multi-band tour like Drowning Pool, Ill Nino, HED PE and Evolution Empire from city to city while adhering to ever-changing local mandates and recommendations unfortunately poses too many concerns to be sure we can fulfill the entire tour as planned.

The tour is currently being rescheduled for March/April 2022, and complete details will be announced in the coming days. Please hold onto your tickets, as they will be good for the new dates.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and we look forward to seeing you all on the road when we can celebrate twenty years of music and friendship in the safest way possible.

Thank you,
