(hed)p.e. Share Music Video For New Version Of “Bartender” Featuring DJ Lethal (Limp Bizkit) & Dropout Kings

(hed)p.e. have teamed up with DJ Lethal (Limp Bizkit) and Dropout Kings for a new version of their song “Bartender.” The updated take on the track is titled “Bartenders” and an official video for it can be found below. The song serves as the first single from (hed)p.e. and Dropout Kings’ upcoming split EP. (hed)p.e.’s Jared Gomes commented:

“When someone suggested we remake this (Hed) P.E classic, I initially couldn’t wrap my brain around the idea because this track is so perfect. Then Staig and Eddie from Dropout Kings brought some new ideas to the table on how we could do a unique new take on the song. They brought that trap metal vibe to it and then DJ Lethal from House of Pain/Limp Bizkit added some scratches to bring this track to life and create a fucking rad version that stands next to the original.”

(hed)p.e. To Release New Version Of “Bartender” Featuring DJ Lethal (Limp Bizkit) & Dropout Kings This Week

(hed)p.e. have teamed up with DJ Lethal (Limp Bizkit) and Dropout Kings for a new version of their song “Bartender.” The updated take on the track, which is titled “Bartenders,” will be released on April 8 and it will serve as the first single from (hed)p.e. and Dropout Kings’ new split EP.

(hed)p.e.’s Jared Gomes said the following about the new version of “Bartender”:

“Stoked to announce we have teamed up with our brothers in Dropout Kings and DJ Lethal for a re-loaded version of Bartender dropping this Friday! When someone suggested we remake this (Hed) P.E classic, I initially couldn’t wrap my brain around the idea because this track is so perfect.

The band also added the following about the EP:

“One of our favorite new bands from the upcoming generation is @dropoutkingsaz. So when the idea of doing a split EP and song together came up we couldn’t have found a better band to collab with. The Split EP has a brand new song from them, a new song from us, and we did a remix of one of my favorite DOK songs GlitchGang. It features @officialtwiztid @therealcrazytown and of course HED PE. This Friday we are dropping the first song from the EP. It’s a re-loaded version of a HED PE classic with both the DROPOUT KINGS and @djlethalreal from limpbizkit and #HouseOfPain on it. “Bartenders” has that added energy that Dropout Kings brings and the special sauce that Lethal brings to every track he blesses. World Premiere this Friday at 9 am PST.”

(hed)p.e. Premiere “Across The Universe” Music Video

(hed)p.e. have premiered a new video for their song “Across The Universe.” The track, which features Ipcus Pinecone (The Villebillies) and Shevy Chase (Elephant Room), is from the band’s latest album “Califas Worldwide.” Jared Gomes commented:

“This track was produced by one of Tech N9ne‘s producers and Demi was in a band The Villebillies that we toured with back in the day. Always enjoyed their music and was stoked to collaborate with them. I got a psychedelic feeling from this song and the other rappers on the track are fire. Shevy Chase, one of the rappers, also created the video and killed it.”

(hed)p.e. Premiere Music Video For New Song “Hurricane” Featuring Sad Silence

(hed)p.e. have premiered a new video for their new song “Hurricane.” The track, which features Sad Silence, is from the band’s new album, “Califas Worldwide,” which was released today (February 4). Jared Gomes commented:

“This track ‘Hurricane‘ was sent to me from Portsmouth, United Kingdom by some artists called Sad Silence. I was excited to smash the vocals because the music is dirty and heavy; combining metal and elements of EDM and dubstep. Then this video is just as brutal as the audio! I love the video because it really gives visuals to exactly what the song is communicating. Grinding in the face of all odds.”

(hed)p.e. Premiere New Song “Choose Sides”

(hed)p.e. have premiered a new song titled “Choose Sides.” This track features Mr. Talkative and it will appear on the band’s new album, “Califas Worldwide,” which is set to be released on February 4. Jared Gomes commented:

“This one brings back those classic OLD SCHOOL SubNoize (Hed) P.E vibes. This song sounds like it could fit in perfectly on Back 2 Base X or Insomnia. This one is for my Worldwide Hardcore Family!!!!”

(hed)p.e. Delay New Album “Califas Worldwide“ To February, Premiere “Death Trip” Video

(hed)p.e. have delayed the release of their new album “Califas Worldwide.“ The effort will now be released on February 4. As consolation, the band have shared a new video for “Death Trip” off their “Sandmine” EP. Jared Gomes said the following about that:

“We met Josh [Petrino] on tour as a fan of the band, and he showed us some of his incredible work as a director. When he offered to direct a video for ‘Death Trip‘ with us in New Jersey it was no brainer. Josh and his team perfectly captured the look and feel of a classic slasher movie and I think it turned out amazing. This is definitely a fun video to create and turned out to be one of the best looking music videos (Hed) P.E has ever done as well.”

Frontman Jared Gomes commented:

“When the first phase of the pandemic hit, all of our tours were canceled and we had just released ‘Class of 2020‘. Rather than sit around waiting for this thing to end, I decided to channel all my energy into creating music and to work with new artists from a variety of styles. We had people from all over the world from places like Belarus, Russia, England, France, Argentina, Italy, and Germany send in tracks.

When I finished I realized there were some really cool vibes here; so I sent a selection to the record label and they agreed. They offered to release a record with all these different artists. The word Califas is Spanish slang for California. I feel like my vocals have a SoCal vibe to them, so the title was a cool way of tying together all the tracks from all over the world with my Cali vibes.”
