(hed)p.e. Premiere New Song “Sandmine”

(hed)p.e. have shared a lyric video for the title track of their new EP “Sandmine.” That effort will be released on July 23. Jahred Gomes told Loudwire the following:

“‘Sandmine’ is a story about rising out of what seems to be inescapable surroundings against all fucking odds. It’s a piece of non-fiction about not only trying, but about failing over and over. It’s like the song says; I wanna live my dream, and if I fail, at least I can say I tried…”

(hed)p.e. To Release New EP “Sandmine” In July, Announce U.S. Tour

(hed)p.e. will be releasing a new EP titled “Sandmine” on July 23. Jahred Gomes said the following about that:

“After the success of ‘Class Of 2020‘, we wanted to give the fans more of what they wanted! The pandemic, the election, the reaction, the pending birth of my daughter…all these experiences fueled the inspiration for ‘Sandmine‘. The title itself names a brutal place where only the strong survive and few are able to escape. On ‘Class Of 2020‘ we went back to our roots with the back-to-basics approach; but on this one we mixed all those elements together with our signature G-Punk sound and a pissed off ‘Sandmine’ was born. I cannot wait for the world to hear this one.”

(hed)p.e. Premiere “Overdue” Music Video

(hed)p.e. have premiered a new video for their song “Overdue.” This track is from the band’s latest album “Class Of 2020.“ Jared Gomes commented:

“I wrote this track for a local film company here in Boise, Idaho; for the closing credits. The movie was filmed at The Old Boise Penitentiary and the story was based on the hauntings at the prison. We shot the entire video in the solitary confinement room where men have died. ‘Overdue’ took on a much more personal note. The song and video are about insecurity and depression.”
