(hed)p.e. have shared their cover of the Ramones‘ “I Wanna Be Sedated.“ This track is from the band’s new covers album “70’s Hits From The Pit,“ which will be released on February 24. The group commented:
“We took The Ramones punchy and pissed-off punk-rock and then filtered it through our own metallic HEDPE prism. This is a tribute to the godfathers of Punk Rawk.”
(hed)p.e. have released a remastered version of their song “Renegade.” The original version of the track appears on the band’s 2009 album “New World Orphans.“

The song serves as the first single from (hed)p.e. and Dropout Kings’ upcoming split EP. (hed)p.e.’s Jared Gomes commented:
“When someone suggested we remake this (Hed) P.E classic, I initially couldn’t wrap my brain around the idea because this track is so perfect. Then Staig and Eddie from Dropout Kings brought some new ideas to the table on how we could do a unique new take on the song. They brought that trap metal vibe to it and then DJ Lethal from House of Pain/Limp Bizkit added some scratches to bring this track to life and create a fucking rad version that stands next to the original.”
