Deadlock Premiere “Berserk” Music Video

Deadlock have premiered a new video for their new song “Berserk,” via Revolver. This song is from the band’s new album, “Hybris,“ which will be released on July 8.

John Gahlert said the following:

“Releasing our first new song, ‘Berserk,’ is a dream come true for all of us, but at the same time [is] the end of a long journey as well as the starting point of our new path. Never before has a Deadlock song been so important for every single band member, never before did we invest so much blood, sweat and tears for a video. ‘Berserk’ is the first official song with Margie Gerlitz as our female vocalist and we’re very excited to see whether our loyal supporters will feel the depth in her voice just as we do.”

Deadlock Announce New Singer/Reveal Details For New Album “Hybris”

Deadlock have parted ways with Sabine Scherer, who left the group to focus on her family life. Margie Gerlitz will serve as her replacement in the band, and their new album, “Hybris,“ will be released on July 8.

Sebastian Reichl said the following:

“‘Hybris‘ is both powerlessness and hope, melancholia and confidence united, accounting for the past in the truest sense. The effort to meet your demons, to forgive and to find salvation with your own history. The release of dammed aggressions and wash away all fears. Put all wrath and anger in music and lyrics to fill with new passion. This is all what ‘Hybris‘ symbolizes and you can feel it every second on the album. It was our longest trip. Giving up was never an option.”
