Comeback Kid have premiered a new video for their song “I’ll Be That.” This track is from the band’s latest album “Outsider.”

The band commented:

“For ‘I’ll Be That‘, we shot another hybrid video working with our good friend from Finland Sami Joensuu for the second time. We collaborated on the narrative trying to incorporate a story that involves someone being their worst enemy and trying to escape themselves before it all catches up to them. The band performance was shot in Lisbon, Portugal on an afternoon before we played a show there earlier this year. Excited to finally get this out.”

“A while back I randomly saw the video for the song ‘Beds Are Burning‘. I had heard it in passing many times before but the video intrigued me at that particular time. After finding out that it was a protest song about giving back lands to an indigenous group in Australia, it resonated with me because of the current situation our Canadian government has with its indigenous people.”

Comeback Kid Premiere “Hell Of A Scene” Music Video

Comeback Kid have premiered a new video for their new song “Hell Of A Scene,” via Brooklyn Vegan. This song is from their new album “Outsider” which was released today (September 8).

The band commented:

“‘Hell Of A Scene‘ was intended to be a song brighter in mood. We always had a laugh writing and playing this song in rehearsals, but it always felt right. One of my favorites on the new album. We shot this video in Aalborg, Denmark while on tour this last summer during some down time an afternoon before a show that night. It was very on the fly and spontaneous. Pleased to premiere it on our album release day.

To release our 6th studio album, with a fresh start on Nuclear Blast/New Damage is a significant moment for us. It really feels like we are starting a whole new chapter with the band. On this record we allowed ourselves to step outside the box a little more musically while still binding to the traditional Comeback Kid sound, resulting in what I think is our most dynamic material yet.”
