Adrenaline Mob To Release New Album “We The People” In June

Adrenaline Mob have announced that their new album “We The People” will be released on June 2. This will be the band’s first effort to feature drummer Jordan Cannata and bassist David Zablidowsky (Trans-Siberian Orchestra).

The following was said about the album:

As the title, We the People, indicates there’s a political side to Adrenaline Mob. Throughout their years as a musicians and songwriters, they hadn’t stayed silent on matters significant. Whether they were masked in metaphor or flatly conspicuous, they’ve always poured their feelings into song. It was, as Orlando puts it, a form of catharsis. So, as they were watching the presidential campaigns, feeling the negativity—the constant bickering and finger pointing—they knew Adrenaline Mob’s next venture would be impacted. In fact, the first song Orlando began writing for We the People was the politically-charged rocker ‘Blind Leading the Blind’. “The title track is very much inspired by the past election year,” confirms Allen. “It touches on our society, here in America. The album title is a reflection of our times. The songs have certain particular stories that stand on their own. Many of them are also driven by the climate we live in today & some are about having a good time, being free & loving rock n roll. All the tracks have a personality and character to them.”

At Adrenaline Mob’s show in Sayreville, New Jersey, last night (March 21), the band was joined by a few special guests to honor the life of drummer, A.J. Pero, who passed away on Friday. One guest was Pero’s Twisted Sister bandmate, Jay Jay French, who got onstage for a special cover of “You Can’t Stop Rock ‘N’ Roll.” You can watch some fan-filmed footage of that below.

The other guests were the band’s former drummer, Mike Portnoy (ex-Dream Theater) and Chad Szeliga (ex-Breaking Benjamin), who handled the drumming duties for the night. Szeliga will also continue drumming for Adrenaline Mob on their remaining tour dates.

Adrenaline Mob Announce New Dates/John Moyer Comments On Tour Exit

According to Loudwire, Adrenaline Mob have announced some new dates and John Moyer has issued a statement about the confusion surrounding his exit.

Moyer issued the following statement about exiting the tour:

“Hey guys, I feel like I need to clear something up. Adrenaline Mob has known for weeks that I would not be going with them on this run. I asked them to issue a press release saying so but Amob management said “no need”. If I wanted to post it on my page that was fine. That conversation happened over a week ago. Once again…I was told by Amob management to post that I was not going out. I’m very confused by the “shock” of my post. I don’t think that management and band were on the same page about my post. Perhaps that was the “shock” they referred to. Unfortunately it also reads as if they didn’t know for sure if I was going out. This is definitely NOT the case. Once again, everyone has known for weeks that I was not going out. In fact I wouldn’t be surprised to find out that they’ve already found my fill in and have had some rehearsals with him. My post was for my fans who were assuming I was going to be out with Amob. Out of respect for my fans I asked Amob to please let people know my status. And as I said before Amob management not only cleared me making that post but suggested I do it in lieu of a press release. I would NEVER tell a band that I wasn’t going to go out via Twitter. People that know me know that I pride myself on my professionalism even in less than perfect situations. I love the band and the guys and it is unfortunate that this turned into such a “shit show” as they say. As far as moving forward with the band I was hoping to leave the door open for future tours but that may not be possible now. Thanks for letting me clear that up. Peace!”
