The Atlas Moth Premiere New Song “Actual Human Blood”

The Atlas Moth have premiered a new song titled “Actual Human Blood,” via This track is from the band’s new album “Coma Noir,“ which will be released on February 9.

David Kush commented:

“This song mostly came about because of Mike [Broken Hope] joining the band. He is an absolute beast on drums and we wanted to write some songs that could showcase his talent while still keeping true to our Atlas Moth sound. The guy is a machine and we can’t wait to get on the road with him to play this live!”

“The concept of cults and cult mentality is explored throughout Coma Noir. You could even say that we as a band and our fans are collectively a cult. The psychedelic culture is a cult of sorts. Religion can be seen as a cult. We aren’t commenting on if they are good or bad, just pointing out that when people believe blindly in anything as truth, they will close themselves off to the greater cult we all fall into which is just Human Beings.

We write these songs in part to inspire others to think for themselves and be entertained, but mostly to remind OURSELVES of the journey we all have taken to come to these realizations.”

The Atlas Moth Premiere New Song “Galactic Brain”

The Atlas Moth have premiered a new song titled “Galactic Brain,” via Decibel. This track is from the band’s new album “Coma Noir,“ which will be released on February 9.

David Kush commented:

“This song is very much a call to action for anyone out there that feels like deep down there is a bigger reason that we are all here together, in this moment. You may think that the world as it stands is chaotic and full of randomness, but I would argue if you listen closely to the silence, and accept Timothy Leary’s and Terrence McKenna’s life experience as in the realm of possibility, you will find that there is an organized, rhythmic, mathematical song that is always playing in the background. Well at least it is for me. I try to tap in to that song and “turn on” whenever possible and Galactic Brain is our version of that universal song. The message is clear. And it’s not new. Be Kind. Hurt no one. Open your EYE.”
