From Ashes To New Premiere Video For “Scars That I’m Hiding” Featuring In Flames’ Anders Fridén

From Ashes To New have premiered a new video for an alternate version of “Scars That I’m Hiding“ featuring In Flames’ Anders Fridén. This version of the song will be featured on the soundtrack for the upcoming horror film “The Retaliators.” A version of “Scars That I’m Hiding” without Fridén’s vocals will also appear on From Ashes To New‘s new album “Panic“ (out August 28).

From Ashes To New’s Matt Brandyberry commented:

“There is nothing more bad-ass than being able to act alongside so many talented artists and ‘The Retaliators‘ gave us that opportunity! As kids we grew up with dreams to be musicians and actors and we are beyond grateful to be able to bring both dreams to fruition through this project. We can’t help but feel that all of this is building the hype we know our new album ‘Panic‘ deserves. This is only the beginning for what FATN is about to do!”

Fridén added:

“We’ve had the pleasure of touring with From Ashes To New a few times, so I was excited when they asked me to do a feature on their new song. The end result sounds awesome. Can’t wait to hit the road together again hopefully soon.”

From Ashes To New Premiere New Song “What I Get”

From Ashes To New have premiered a new song titled “What I Get.” This track is from the band’s new album “Panic,” which will be released on August 28. Matt Brandyberry commented:

“We have all been in that toxic relationship that feels impossible to get away from. You wake up one day telling yourself that you have had enough and you are out, but out of habit continue on the same course of misery. You know that person is the worst thing in your life, but can’t imagine your days without them. The pain, the hurt, the anger is what we trade for the fear of uncertainty. It makes the song and the phrase “What I Get” all too real.”

“Panic” Track Listing:

01. “Scars That I’m Hiding”
02. “Brick”
03. “What I Get”
04. “Blind”
05. “Sidefx”
06. “Panic”
07. “Wait For Me”
08. “Bulletproof”
09. “Nothing”
10. “Death Of Me”
11. “Change My Past”

From Ashes To New Premiere “Panic” Music Video

From Ashes To New have premiered a new video for the title track of their upcoming album “Panic.” The clip was shot in Rochester, NY during the final days before quarantine. Matt Brandyberry commented:

“It was a race against the clock to get it all together. Our director ended up losing employees because they didn’t want to put themselves at risk, which is understandable. They had to scrounge up some crew members to get it together and we had to travel to get a hotel that was willing to let us stay there and we had to find places that were open for us to eat. Overall, it was a difficult scenario. It was almost like a Book Of Eli post-apocalyptic situation where it was like fend for yourself.”
