Marilyn Manson Accuser Says Seeing The Singer Praying With Kanye West And Justin Bieber Was “Like Being Retraumatized”

As previously reported, Marilyn Manson recently made headlines after he was seen praying with Kanye West and Justin Bieber during a “Sunday Service” event. Many have assumed that the move was part of a publicity stunt to distract people from the numerous rape and sexual assault allegations against him. One of his accusers, actress/model Ashley Morgan Smithline, has even commented on the prayer circle, saying that seeing Manson with West and Bieber was “like being retraumatized.”

Smithline, who is currently suing Manson for sexual assault, abuse, etc., told People the following:

“It makes everyone really fucking sick. This is just like being retraumatized. And it’s just showing the point that the world doesn’t really care if you rape and if you beat and hurt all these [women], you can do whatever you want, basically, if you have money and you’re a guy and you’re famous.”

A spokesperson for Manson also responded saying that his religious beliefs are “nobody’s business.”

As previously reported, Manson is currently facing abuse allegations from at least 16 women. Those accusations were initially spurred by actress Evan Rachel Wood, who said that the musician “horrifically abused [her] for years.” Since then many more women have come forward with allegations against the singer, including Smithline, actress Esmé Bianco, who filed a lawsuit after accusing him of abuse and human trafficking, actress Bianca Allaine, who described him as the “most terrifying person [she has] ever met in [her] life,” his former assistant Ashley Walters, who filed a lawsuit against him for sexual assault, sexual battery, sexual harassment, etc., and another woman, identified as “Jane Doe,” who filed a lawsuit after accusing him of rape and death threats.

Wood has since shared more details regarding her time with Manson as well, including his alleged use of anti-Semitic and racial slurs. She has also claimed that his current wife Lindsay Usich and a woman named Leslee Lane threatened to release underage photos of her to destroy her career.

After all of this news broke, the Los Angeles County Sherriff’s Department confirmed that they were investigating Manson. Allaine also mentioned that she was planning to speak to the FBI.

Since Wood made her initial statement, Manson has been dropped by his manager Tony Ciulla, his label Loma Vista Recordings, his talent agency CAA, and a couple of TV shows. Others that worked with Manson have also come forward, including his former assistant Dan Cleary, who said he witnessed the musician abusing Usich.

Two of his other exes, Rose McGowan and Dita Von Teese, have both commented as well. Von Teese’s statement was the most recent and she said that the “details made public do not match [her] personal experience” with the singer, while also adding that “abuse of any kind has no place in any relationship.”

A number of other musicians have also issued statements including Ellie Roswell (Wolf Alice), who said she once caught Manson “filming up [her] skirt with a GoPro,” Phoebe Bridgers, who said Manson previously “referred to a room in his house as the ‘r*pe room’,” Otep, who said Usich would call her house “hysterical because he was on another drug binge, threatening her life,” Trent Reznor (Nine Inch Nails), who said that he has “been vocal over the years about [his] dislike of Manson as a person,” and Wes Borland (Limp Bizkit), who said that “every single thing that people have said about him is fucking true.” Actor Corey Feldman also claimed that Manson put “spies” into his life as part of a “decades long mental and emotional abuse” campaign.

For his part, Manson claimed that the accusations “are horrible distortions of reality.”

Marilyn Manson Apparently Prayed With Kanye West At The Rapper’s Latest “Sunday Service” Event

Marilyn Manson, who is currently facing multiple lawsuits related to numerous disturbing instances of rape and sexual assault, was apparently praying with Kanye West during the rapper’s latest “Sunday Service” event. Photos of the prayer circle, which also featured Justin Bieber, can be seen below. This news comes after Manson previously guested on West’s song “Jail pt 2” alongside DaBaby, who is currently facing backlash for making homophobic comments onstage. It also comes after the shock rocker appeared alongside West and DaBaby at a recent listening party for West’s album “Donda.”

Love And Death (Korn, etc.) and Lacey Sturm (ex-Flyleaf) have premiered a new video for their cover of DJ Snake and Justin Bieber’s “Let Me Love You.” That track appears on Love And Death’s latest album “Perfectly Preserved.”

Brian “Head” Welch told Loudwire the following:

“‘LMLY‘ has been one of my favorite tracks to cover. It’s so enjoyable to me making a pop song super heavy. Having three vocalists perform on the track was unique as well and I love the way mine, Lacey and JR [Bareis]’s voices blend together. When I asked Lacey to do the song with us I had no idea what the lyrics would mean to her at that particular time. After discovering what she was going through, my main hope with the song was that Lacey would find healing, and that healing might extend to anyone struggling in life who heard the track.”

“The ‘never give up’ message that directors Sebastien Paquet and Alison Roberto worked hard to convey in the music video profoundly mirrored some of the conversations Lacey and I were having behind the scenes, without either director having prior knowledge of the conversations, so we were very blown away by that and we’re so proud of what we achieved here with this song and video. Art is so much more powerful than we think.”

Sturm added:

“Working with Love And Death on ‘Let Me Love You‘ was sort of a supernatural experience. I was mourning the loss of a loved one when I recorded the song. Mourning is a multifaceted process and sort of comes in waves. They asked me to do the song at a very dark moment in that process. When I went to sing in the studio the lyrics were everything I wanted to sing and scream in response to this death; which felt like such a theft.”
