  • The Warning And Carín León Share “Love To Be Loved” Performance Video

The Warning and Carín León have shared a new performance video for their collaborative track “Love To Be Loved.” You can check that out below:

    The Warning previously commented:

“We are so excited about this song. As a rock band, this is something completely different for us and a chance to explore new sounds. Originally co-written with Teddy Swims, the song naturally blends country, rock, and pop in a way that felt fresh and inspiring from the start. Blending musical worlds is always exciting, and working with our fellow Mexican artist Carín León made the experience even more special. It’s a collaboration that pushed us creatively and shows a new side of The Warning.”

    León added:

“I’m truly happy and excited about this collaboration with these amazing artists, The Warning, a band I deeply admire that reaffirms to me that Mexican music and Mexican rock are far from dead — they’re more present and stronger than ever. I’m also really grateful to collaborate alongside artists with such important projects for Mexican music and culture, and to be able to release this great song together. I truly hope people connect with it, appreciate it, and carry it in their hearts for a long time.”

  • Megadeth’s Dave Mustaine On Retirement Plans: “When I Can’t Play Anymore, I Won’t”

During a recent interview with Primordial Radio, Megadeth’s Dave Mustaine discussed his plans to retire following a lengthy farewell tour. He says “when [he] can’t play anymore, [he] won’t.”

    Mustaine said the following:

“You can see it right there [on my left hand] — there’s a line going across my palm right there. That’s, called Dupuytren contracture and it’s basically gonna pull my finger down like this, where I won’t be able to play. So the answer to your question [about how long the farewell tour is going to be] is, yeah, when I can’t play anymore, I won’t. I’m not gonna stop before I can’t. And I don’t know how long it’s gonna take for this disease to progress. My pinky and this finger on one side’s numb. My thumb’s numb on [the right] side. That’s all from having my neck broken and having it fused together, ’cause I have a piece of metal in my neck with screws holding the two vertebrae together. And consequently, I’ve got numbness in my hand. I mean, what else can I possibly have happen to my hands?”

  • Nancy Wilson: “We Need To Make One More Heart Album”

During a recent appearance on Andy Frasco’s World Saving Podcast, Heart’s Nancy Wilson discussed the possibility of a new album. She says she would like to do one more record with the group.

    Wilson said the following:

“I go through these phases. Like right now I’m in a phase of really feeling like creating some new songs. And I’ve got songs going on. But I feel like this is the perfect time for HEART — like this year, next year — to make a victory lap out of our legacy. So I figure we need to make one more HEART album. And especially with these players that we have in the lineup right now in this band. We’re just really excited to play together, and there’s no kind of limits on what we could kind of pull off as musicians. So I’ve got a few songs, and Ann’s [Wilson, HEART singer and Nancy’s sister] working with those guys in her side band right now writing other songs. But I think I’m gonna want to make the last HEART album and do the victory lap and make 2027 mainly about the HEART film, the HEART documentary.”

She went on to discuss the band’s biopic:

“We’ve got a big movie, and we’ve got a final draft soon to read that Carrie Brownstein, actually, [is working on] — she did ‘Portlandia’, of SLEATER-KINNEY fame — she’s a buddy and she’s a good writer too. And we’ve been working mainly with her… And it’s so weird too, ’cause you kind of have to go, well, okay, who would be the actor that plays you?”

“For me, I mean, somebody like Elle Fanning. She’s great. Florence Pugh would make an incredible Ann Wilson, I think. I don’t know. It’s just fun to think about anyway.”

She then circled back when asked if it’s “weird” to “think of a victory lap”:

“Kind of, but then as the grandchildren start arriving, [it’s] not as crazy to think about doing less of the big rock tour. I mean, it’s entirely exhausting to do that travel. And when you’re not quite as young and rubbery as you always were, going through almost 50 years-ish of doing that, you really get paid for the travel on those rock tours. The show itself is the thrill — the million thrills and the glory and that magic thing — and I would do that for free, and I probably will end up doing music somehow for as long as I can live. But the tour part, it’s really rough on you.”

  • Avatar Cut London, UK Show Short Due To Electrical Issues

Avatar’s February 14 show at Exhibition White City in London, UK was cut short due to an electrical issue. The “whole stage became electrified” and two crew members were “severely shocked.”

    Vocalist Johannes Eckerström commented:

“Hello everyone watching, particularly the people of London who came out to see our show tonight. As you heard, we didn’t make it quite to the finish line.

The whole stage became electrified. It burnt up some of our equipment and also shocked — severely shocked — two guys in our crew.

We have deemed this venue not safe to perform in any longer. Like, we could get hurt, we we’re simply lucky. The crew guys are fine now, so also lucky. But this is not a safe place to be for you or for us, so how about a rain check?

We want to figure out what we can do to come back as soon as we can and do you right London. I think both you and us deserve that very much.

Thank you for an amazing hour-plus at least, it was supposed to be a bit longer. You were amazing, we were pretty amazing too. Let’s find an amazing place to finish this.”
