Vulvodynia, To The Grave, Viscera, Etc. Cancel U.S. Tour

The U.S. leg of the “Unique Legion Tour” has officially been cancelled. That trek was supposed to feature sets from Vulvodynia, To The Grave, Viscera, Osiah, and Bound In Fear.

Unique Leader Records issued the following statement:

“We regret to announce we have decided to cancel the USA run ONLY of the Unique Legion tour for this year.

Whilst in tour in Europe, To The Grave had some unfortunate and urgent news regarding vocalist Dane [Evans], with him requiring an operation in Australia immediately. This has rendered the band out of action for several months.

Please join us in wishing Dane a super speedy recovery while the band prepare to release their new album.

Further to this, Viscera have just had the untimely news the past week that their drummer Alex [Micklewright] has decided to leave the band.

With only 6 weeks remaining, this leaves a considerable 2 band hole in the line up – it will be an impossible task to restructure the right package in time without interfering with our artists other touring plans.

HOWEVER- you WILL get new music from the lads in Vulvodynia, along with another USA tour announcement for them in 2023, coming VERY soon.

To The Grave will return to the USA once Dane is back to full health. Bound In Fear + Osiah are both beginning work on brand new albums and will make their way to the USA as soon as possible!

Refunds for all those who bought tickets can be obtained directly from purchase point.

Please note that the European Tour meanwhile remains UNAFFECTED!

Thank you all for you understanding.”

Evans continued:

“Hey guys, Dane here

We are devastated to announce that we are unable to do the upcoming North America tour in March. Whilst in tour in Europe I had some unfortunate and urgent news come up regarding my physical health – requiring an operation in Australia immediately. This has rendered us out of action for extensive touring for several months. We’re sorry for anyone affected by this – TTFG will return to the USA once I’m back to full health. Thank you for understanding…

Unfortunately Viscera have also had some bad news with their drummer leaving the band, which has led to the decision to cancel the Unique Legions North America tour.

We will still be playing tonight’s final show of the Elegy tour in Karlsruhe, Germany.”

Viscera added:

“Important update- unfortunately Alex has decided to leave the band. We had not expected this (especially the timing).

We are now hosting open auditions for a new drummer- if you’re up to the task then post us a video of you playing ‘Sungazer’! ☀️”

Vulvodynia Premiere “Artificial Divinity” Music Video

Vulvodynia have premiered a new video for their new song “Artificial Divinity.“ The band commented:

“‘Artificial Divinity‘ is about the eventual evolution of humanity by means of A.I. The idea of the extinction of all biological matter, as A.I. becomes sentient and runs afoul of all of humanity’s perversions. We decided to use A.I. generated artwork to fully round off the theme! We had been planning out what we thought the perfect single would consist of for a while. Combining elements from our old material, as well as giving the fans something they’ve never heard or experienced from us before, all while staying true to who we are as Vulvodynia. This song is a special one and we can’t wait to hear what you think!”
